Valentine Hearts~

Heart to heart to heart...
Pillows, pincushions or hugs to sit on teddy bears laps!
Each with a Valentine message and a sweet little friend~

A big larger this year as my friend Jan zipped them up by machine!
I did enjoy hand-stitching them in the past...
It is much nicer to have a larger size & more to share!

Hope your New Year is off to a great start~
Filled with love and laughter!

Valentine hearts...

My studio is cool in the winter~

After dinner I bring projects to the living room and
cozy up beneath fuzzy blankets!

Here a stitch... there a stitch...

Muslin Valentine hearts with my pen & ink illustrations~

January has been passing quickly~
We will soon hear the hum of bees in the flowers!

Hope you're having a wonderful week!
Wishing your heart every joy~

Monday, January 6

A finished flock~

"Come fly with me, let's fly, let's fly away..." (Frank Sinatra)

That is the song I have had stuck in my mind for the past week~
Always a lyric that relates to repetitive projects...

These were such fun!
Each with their own personality~
Added them to my Etsy shop.

Now to build up the courage to finish the punch needle gift...
It looks so nice sitting there--- waiting to be finished!

Sweet Dreams!

Muslin birds fly in...

They have their wings...

Some even have a touch of lace~

Now comes the fun... they get their faces & patterns~
Their personality!

Wishing you a day filled with creative~

Valentine hearts...

Wanted to share some of my finished treasures...

I'm still working on my flock of birds...
They get a little fussy about their wings, tails and fancy details!

Such a little face~

Whooooo loves you~

A friend loves at all times~
That's whoooooo!

Just added these little friends to my Etsy shop...
Birds will be flying in soon!

Please stay safe in these cold and fierce storms...

Muslin & whiskers...

Love... love.. love~
Hope your New Year is filled with LOVE!

I'm not speedy in my crafting... each piece stitched by hand~
My sister shared one of her sewing machines so that I could make larger pieces.
I tried.
I tried a 2nd time.
I tried again.
I tried with a happy heart.
I returned her machine and smiled all the way home.
Grrrrrrr....
EVEN MORE respect for all who enjoy their sewing machines!

Tippy is fine with hand-stitching!

Adoring eyes... thankful for the warm lap~
(I'm just as thankful!)

Tippy and I wish you a creative, happy, healthy and JOY-filled New Year!
