Tickled Pink Preview Day 7 Spinks & Spooks Collection–Lil Haunts 2 Vampire Lestat

Good afternoon to you all and welcome to day 7 of the Lil Haunts previews from Tickled Pink. Today I’d like to share with you a project that I’ve made using the Vampire Lestat image which has been illustrated by Christina Dee. This image along with 7 more Halloween images will be available from Tickled Pink from 15th August along with Ann’s wonderful Halloween sentiment set.

When I saw this image I knew straight away that I was going to make a coffin Halloween treat box and I got the template from the Martha Stewart website.

I cut the box out using black cardstock and then around the edges I used Platinum Liquid Pearls to give a little design. I then made 4 holes and put pearl brads through them along with a bit of twine. I didn’t have red pearl brads so I just coloured them using my burgundy promarker pen.

The black roses I made myself using my slice machine and the brilliant sentiment is by the very talented Ann.

Here’s another photo showing the inside of the treat box filled with some goodies.

Don't forget to stop by the Tickled Pink Stamps blog for more amazing previews and to comment for a chance to win some Halloween treats for yourself :0)

Whiff of Joy Challenge DT Project & Book Box Tutorial

Hi there everyone I'm back again with my DT project for Whiff of Joy where there is a brand new challenge  and we have a gorgeous sketch for you to follow.

The image I've used is the gorgeous Melinda with Bouquet from Whiff of Joy and I've coloured her using my ProMarker and AquaMarker pens.

The DP is Prima and I've inked the edges using Brushed Corduroy.

The flowers I made myself using various dies.

If you would like to see more pictures or would like to know how I made the book box then head over to the Whiff of Joy Inspirations blog where I've done a tutorial.

For my Truly Scrumptious DT card, please see below this one.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Christmas Gift Book Box

Hi there everyone and hope that you all had the best Christmas ever and that you got loads of crafting goodies from Santa. We had a nice relaxing day with the kids and my Dad and I also had the chance to play with some of my crafting goodies that I got my Santa ;o)

I know that you are probably sick of seeing anything Christmasy now but I didn't get the chance to post this before Christmas and I've seen these book boxes around blogland the last few weeks so I thought that I'd have a go at making one.

The image that I've used is Noelle Bearing Gifts from Mo's Digital Pencil and I've coloured her using my ProMarker pens.

I've inked all the edges using Brushed Corduroy distress inks.

The DP I've used is Tim Holtz and the tag I made using the Magical Tag die from Whiff of Joy and the flowers I made myself using my slice machine.

Edited to add:- in the next couple of days, I shall put together a tutorial on how I made this book box and will post it on here.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope that you have a fabulous day.
