Easter

Please scroll down to the bottom of my post
for final picture of my card.

I made shaped Easter card and used
Promarkers to colour the whole thing!
I used digi-stamp cross template from Polka Doodles
(paper boutique vol III). I did a decoupage of the flower fall with a few
layers and also used  tonic flower punches to give the flowers even
more dimension.
The "Happy Easter" sign was created with the help of word processor .
"The digi stamps of the birdie and 2 chicks were downloads from
kwankwest blog and the chicks were cropped from a digi-stamp
called 'banner-chick' by Torico's Digital Gallery"
I also used white pearls and the brown ones are really white ones
but I used brown promarker to change the colour.

Complete picture follows after this one.

Bellow is the final result where I also added the adorable digi image
from Pollycraft (Celeste Amberglow-Huntin' eggs) and also coloured with
promarkers.
For those who wonder why Celeste is so pale, it is not because
she has eaten too many chocolate eggs! (LOL) It is fault of my
crappy phone camera which makes everything  look
slightly bleached out on the picture bellow!

Spring

For my Spring Card I went for a clean and simple look.
I used digi-stamp images from birdiebrown and
the sentiment is from desertdiva-hannelie blogs.
The bigger bird's wing is not original I used a black
fine line pen and added lines to create the effect.
Colouring medium - promarkers

Paper Quilling

This is my first time I have done any paper quilling. I thought I would challenge myself with something new for a change and decided to use a quilling craft kit which I have had for ages. From the kit I used  the picture frame and the pink quilling paper, the other 2 quilling coloured  papers were not supplied with the kit. I recycled off cuts of light weight papers which I had left from my previous crafting sessions and were already coloured with promarkers with the colours I wanted for this project and cut them into 3mm strips to make my quilling paper strips. For the design I took the inspiration from the picture which was on the outside of the quilling kit.
