Half Full or Half Empty

Morning!

Hope you're all well.

It's the weekend, and for some in da house (me) it's just another weekend as I don't get the holiday Monday from work. Andy and Scott are off in Edinburgh for the football so it's just me and Craig this morning. What to do.....

Anyway, while we contemplate, here is Opal the Optimist with her half empty glass. Or is it half full?!

Paisley Has A Prezzie

Morning all.

Well, it's now two days since the Commonwealth Games finished. I am bereft - can we have them back now please Australia? We've changed our minds and want to keep them.

So today I am sharing a birthday card I made for my friend. I went fairly CAS with this AND you will note doodling too...... I've paper pieced Paisley's top and skirt - I love this colour combo and these were the only pieces of this MME paper pad I had left so I thought using them this way was better than not being able to use them at all. And like the Commonwealth Games I miss this paper too!!

It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere......

Morning... it may be a little early for this sentiment, although.....

This is a birthday card I made for my friend last week and I had to break out one of my new Uptown Girls, this one is Madison has a Margarita. And yes, before you say it I know a Margarita isn't green and sparkly..... but that went with my colour scheme ;)

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is

Doodles
*shudders* I HATE doodling!! Hate it.

Our sponsor this week is Hobby House. Full details on the blog.

It was one of my friend's birthday last week and this is the card I made for her using an Uptown Girls image - Lucille Sends Her Love. And the doodling, just in case you're looking for it.... it's the faux stitching round the image. Go on, I'm sure you can do better than that.

Hot. Hot. Hot.

No, I can't believe I'm saying that either. This is Scotland? This is July? Something has gone wrong!

Today I'm sharing with you a card that was ordered by my friend for her friend's big birthday (can't remember what the number was so I'm not going to guess but it was either 50 or 60).

Blanche seemed to fit the bill as did the sentiment from the Audrey Uptown Girl stamp. Bit of sophistication ;)
