Today is My day
Today is my birthday however this card I made for a friend's birthday. I used sketch no 69 at Cardabilities.
On the background I used Crafter's workshop's stencils together with Distresses and a snumber stamp made using the Photocentric/Teresa Collins stampmaker from the December free download. I also used the stampmaker do make the fram (my own design). The pattern paper are from Studio Calico and the badge is from a Studio Calico kit. The flower is from You Do. And ofcourse I added some Twine ♥

New sketch over at the Studio Challenges
I love this photo of my DD in a glitter dress and football shoes hanging upside down. When I found this whimsy PinkPaislee Portfolio words and decorations I saw the perfect match. For the background I used some masks from Crafter's Workshop and Pink Paislee. I also used some paper from an old Studio Calico kit and some from You Do. The title is made using the Silhouette.
Go to the Studio Challenge Blog and check out what the rest of the team has made with this fab sketch:

Counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9...
Today is Amanda's Birthday, (Happy Birthday Amanda!) and the challenge at The Studio Challenges for today is all about numbers!
So I love numbers and this weeks challenge over at The Studio Challenges really got me going. I scrapped about a lunch at my house the other day with 9 kids and 3 mums. It is really no problem having so many kids at the house, it is much worse for example going to the beach... then I just keep on counting 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and then again 1, 2 .., 9 over and over again to make sure they are all still there *LOL*
Supply:
I used my Studio Calico kit, added some YouDo /Canvas Corps paper and some stars from Studio Calico.
Now go and check out what the design team came up with! We are also really lucky to be joined by some of the Rock Ruby-it design team this month too!
Ruby Rock-it are also kindly sponsoring us for this month so please link up your creations for a chance of winning some great new CHA Ruby Rock-It goodies!

August sketch challenge at The Studio Challenges
There is a lovely sketch to interpret at The Studio Challenges Blog.
My intrepretation is a bit traditional perhaps. My only deviation from the sketch is that I used 2 square photos instead of 1. I found this gigant Doily in a Home Style Shop {Lagerhaus} and couldn't resist... I guess it should really be used for baking cakes but I was baking a page instead.
