ITA  E' un bel po' che ho in mente questo post, e dopo parecchio tempo passato su Polyvore alla ricerca dell'outfit giusto, finalmente ce l'ho fatta!
Mi spiego meglio: nel momento stesso in cui ho visto questa bellissima clutch di Pretty in Mad ho saputo che ci avrei costruito intorno un bel set/outfit per la rubrica "Style tips - consigli di stile" di questo blog. Chi mi segue da un po' sa quanto io mi diverta su Polyvore nel creare set per abbinare i miei gioielli ad abiti, accessori, situazioni, e amo anche inserire altre creazioni handmade di colleghi artigiani/designer, italiani ed internazionali :)

Comincio la settimana con una selezione di oggetti che ho realizzato su Etsy. Amo spulciare alla ricerca di meraviglie fatte a mano, e poi creare treasury accomunate da un tema, da un colore predominante o una combinazione di colori, da una sensazione. Ieri sera mi sono rilassata facendomi guidare da un'ispirazione invernale, dai toni freddi e tenui, che possano ricordare la bruma sui campi in un gelido mattino di gennaio.

I love looking for amazing handmade stuff and then making treasuries with a theme, with a main colors or color combo, with a main sensation. Yesterday evening I made one with a Winter inspiration, with cold and soft hues, which remind the mist on the country fields in a freezing January morning.

My handmade Christmas

Buongiorno! Come avete passato il Natale? Io benissimo, insieme alla mia famiglia e ai miei nipotini, tra un mare di giocattoli, cibo, cartoni animati e... regalini handmade! Sì, perché ho ricevuto dei bellissimi pensierini fatti a mano... più giù ve li mostro! E ne ho anche regalati, ovviamente (ma quelli che ho fatto io ve li faccio vedere un'altra volta). Intanto qua sopra vedete la tavola piena di pacchettini, ovviamente accanto all'albero di Natale :) e qui sotto la tavola imbandita per la colazione, con la torta paradiso a forma di albero di Natale, cucinata da mia mamma. Hello! How did you spend your Christmas day? I spent it in the best way, with my family and my little nephews, among a great quantity of toys, food, animated cartoons and... handmade presents! Yes, I received beautiful handmade gifts... below I'll show you! Obviously, I made them too (but I'll show them in the next days). On the top of the post, you can see the table full of gifts by the Christmas tree :) and here above, the kitchen ready for the breakfast. The tree cake was made by my mum. Polyvore love: Romantic and vintage inspirations

Giocare con Polyvore mi diverte proprio! Per me è una specie di "giochiamo a fare shopping", mi piace poter creare dei look senza dover badare ai prezzi e alle solite domande "Lo metterò mai?", "Con quanti capi nel mio armadio posso abbinarlo?", "Mi sta davvero bene?". Insomma su Polyvore posso ben fregarmene, tanto è tutto per finta :)

In questo set il look è d'ispirazione vintage-romantico, uno stile che a me piace tantissimo. I pezzi che mi piacciono di più sono la camicetta in seta color crema, la gonna floreale (devo ammettere, però, che forse nella vita reale dovrei essere un po' più audace per indossarla ^.*), le francesine (queste invece le indosserei senza esitazione, è un modello che adoro e sono il mio sogno degli ultimi due anni), il bracciale rigido a forma di freccia (geniale!), la collana con il ciondolo a forma di polaroid e il cappello orsoso in ecopelliccia.

It's so funny playing with Polyvore! For me is a sort of "Let's pretend to go shopping". I love creating outfits without minding prices and wondering "When will I wear this?", "Have I something to couple with?", "Is it ok on me?". On Polyvore I don't mind: it's only a game :)

The inspiration of this set is vintage-romantic, a style I really love. The pieces I like the most are the cream silk top, the floral printed skirt (but I admit, in the real life I'd have to be "bolder" to wear this ^.*), the Oxford heels (I adore them! They're my dream!), the arrow cuff bracelet (so clever!), the necklace with a polaroid camera charm and the faux-fur bear hat.
