this weekend

just cant wait (harap2 jadi ler)

so called pre-honeymoon..

today i feel like updating my blog as hari tu Cik Puan Moose ada request suruh buat review..so, here goes (pls be reminded, i will compress into 1 entry jer):
Trip ni organized by hub's company for annual co. trip (cer teka next year pi mana plk? aku pun taktau) and luckily wife pun blh ikut sekali.. hehe..alhamdulillah blh la pegi jalan2..

Day 1
April 2011- our flight to Saigon actually dah petang, we landed around 6pm their time (actually Vietnam is 1 hr behind Msia). as soon as we all naik bus, we were shocked with their traffic. penuh dgn motorcycles and its really hectic. seriously. ada motor yg dtg dari opposite side. pening2.
then terus pegi dinner at Saigon Penang. the food so-so jer maybe sebab dah sejuk..
lps dinner, check in at Lan Lan Hotel 2. blh consider CBD area la kot..

Day 2
off to Chu Chi Tunnel, which is 1hour plus from the hotel. scenery pun macam so- so jer, tido jer dalam bus.

mind you, the weather and temperature just like malaysia. sangat panas! then off we for shopping place which located at Nam Ky Khoi Nghia St, District 1 (sila pronounce btl2, aku pun tak reti). shoplot kat situ consists of kedai handbag, baju2, kain pasang, souvenirs etc.. and this shop (as per below pic) ada jual ready made kurung and i think the price is quite reasonable and cheaper than msia. kalau rasa nak beli better beli terus like caftan yg dlm gmbr tu because kt kedai lain aku tak jumpa pun. seriously regretted sbb i was thinking like 'ala..nanti pegi kedai lain mesti ada lagi murah' ok. pegi kedai lain tak ada pun caftan mcm tu.. yg banyak kain pasang and ready made kurung..sigh~

at night, we took cab to HRC to buy the t-shirt. (hubs is a HRC t-shirt collector)
Day 3
Mekong River trip. lebih kurang 2hrs from our hotel. we hopped into big boat to go to the small island..then tgk org buat coconut candy, tried their honey, fruits..etc..

and the best part was naik boat kecik ni.. ya ampun. naik without safety jacket ok. and most of the pendayung are Women. we gave some tips sbb kesian sgt tengok makcik2 ni mendayung and we can see that kehidupan mereka sangat daif..rasa insaf sekejap..but it was a good experience tho.

Day 4 (last day)
Shopping time. but we all tak shopping sangat pun. just bought souvenirs for families and closed friends jer..
1. Bin thay market- sesuai if nak beli borong sbb barang2 kt situ jual in bulk..mostly kain, shawl, helmet?
2. ben thanh market- near to our hotel (takder gambar..maaf), the market memang macam market/ pasar. same goes to bin thay market tadi..sangat panas. ben thanh market ni ada jual kain2 jugak, t-shirts, shawl, souvenirs etc..
3. russian market- ada aircond. tapi tak menarik pun. but if u plan to buy winter jacket/ coat, u can buy here (unfortunately i bought my jacket for Melb trip since Dec lagi) hehe..

our last night in Saigon, we were entertained by the water puppet show and it was in their language. so kami sekadar tengok je lah. basically i think that the show was based on their culture and their history. other than that, den tak paham.
Tips 101
1. pls try to bargain as low as you can.
2. be careful with the penjual. they are so desperate to sell their goods. sampai tarik2 tangan kita. rasa macam nak lempang jer. hahaha
3. be careful with the foods. nasib baik pegi ngn tour..agak susah jgk if pegi sendiri as they eat almost everything (dog, cat, snake etc)

rasanya setakat tu je la kot yang aku ingt..hehe.. bye!

p.s: the trip organized by hub's company and its just our rezeki that his company organize annual trip ke sana.. alhamdulillah..sape taknak free trip? huhuhu..nk tunggu company aku? non ado. haha

MATTA Fair is bakkk!!

Kami belum lagi berhoneymoon. sungguh. tak tipu. almost 4mths kawin tak berhoneymoon lagi..sedih. Last year's Matta Fair we didnt managed to grab mana2 package pun (entry kt sini). So this time around hopefully blh grab the ground package as we bought the tix already since Aug'10 yo!

Aku nak cari package and hotel murah2 jer..agak2 ada tak? HAHA!

Does anyone know how to go to Lake Mountain (from Melbourne town) with public transport (anytime)? i.e bus, etc.

Because most of the trip only start in June..

Please Please let me know..

P.S: I heard Coldplay is coming to Malaysia this May..is it true?? ARGH!!! simpan duit pelis!

2011 starts with~ cherryberry. sampai hari ni tak baik2 lagi. doctor suruh pantang makan. jawab nya roti dgn air teh la for bfast, lunch n dinner.. (ok la..blh kurus balik)

1.1.11 hari tu tak dpt attend wedding Lynda sbb letih sangat n dehydrated dah..frust giler..sorry sangat mek!! anyway.. ko sgt gorgeous on ur nikah day. saw it from Daniel Zain's FB..

Semua org pakat buat entry resolution for 2011. aku pun nak buat jgk lah. (tak malu tiru org)

Pre-pre- honeymoon

A night stay at Avillion PD sponsored by BFF for our wedding present..Tq soo much! but not much activities that we can do..luckily we share same hobby. amik gambo. hehe..

next day check in at Legend Water Chalet, self sponsored lah. well, PD is a small town with not so many place to eat. atau pun kitorg yg tak jumpa tempat mkn yg best2??


stay tune for our next pre-honeymoon in April and real honeymoon in May.. (eceh..byk plk honeymoon) hahaa..

tiring weekend tp byk benda dh settle. yay!

smlm (saturday) pg2 lg dh gerak dgn misi kami. enche tunang ada dtg kl. since lps ni dia super busy..byk benda kena settle within weekend.

1. card collected. yay! raya nnti blh handover dkt mama.

2. wedding ring. checked. initially sy suke princess cut, tp kt habib ada >1carat.hahaha..xmampu lah.sbb if less than 1carat, diamond tu xsparkle sgt. whatever lah. so how round cut can be look alike princess cut? by 4 prong setting. kalau perati btl2 baru nampak ianya round cut. speaking punye speaking dgn salesperson tu..dia pun terdgr la kitorg 'speaking' kelate, lantas bertanya 'u ol org kelate ker? sy pun org kelate gak'..hahaha..lucu okay. lps tu terus kitorg 'speaking' kelate.hehehe..td wedding ring sy dh siap..and i love it sooo much! sbb smlm dh risau takut xcantik.sbb dia just letak loose diamond tu dgn casing yg kosong..so xnampak sgt. lbh krg gmbr kt bwh ni..tp bkn exactly mcm ni la.hehee..dlm gmbr ni diamond bsr gabak.hahaha

3. doorgift belah enche tunang settled. pegi cari kt jln TAR.. ya ampun..letih giler kot. dh la susah nk cari parking. semua org nk cari baju2 raya.tp kitorg pegi nk cari wedding stuff .hehehe..dh la org ramai giler..peninggggg...pusing2 punye pusing last2 beli kt semua house. kedai sin yi ke ape ntah nama kedai tu..ye kot.

4. pegi PWTC. ada MATTA fair la katakann..hehehe..tp xleh beli apa2 package pun..sbb kitorg travel bln May. semua package kt situ valid smpai March 2011 jer..pegi next Matta fair la jwbnye..dhla org ramai..penat sgt. parking jauh. dh la masa kt jln TAR tu jln jauh dh..ish2..dugaan2..

5. sunday plk (tadi) p pickup wedding ring aku. lps tu pusing2 nk cari wedding band utk enche tunang..since i dh baca byk blogger ckp suasa contains sedikit emas and platinum sgt pricey..so kitorg pun cari ler palladium..and yes.dkt goldheart jer ade palladium. harga in between suasa and platinum. and there's one material named platinum sterling/ platim sgt2 murah..blh dpt less than 1k. rasanya muslim men blh pakai kot sbb contain of platinum and sterling silver. quality wise xsure plk.hehe..

ok sekian cerita weekend aku yg sgt meletihkan kan. tp aku suke sbb byk benda dh settle.yay!
