MDSM77.. Layer it up!

Welcome back to another fun challenge here at MDS Monday.. Thank you to everyone who entered our DT Call, we will be in touch with you by the end of August. Are you ready to Digital create with us? We are saying goodbye to our Design Team member Joan this week and she's closing her time out with us by Hosting the challenge this week. We want to wish her the best of Luck with her future endeavors and I want to Thank her for all of her hard work here at MDS Monday she's been with us since the beginning. So without further ado let's here from Joan. 

Howdy, Howdy….it's Joan here, and it's my turn to host.  I thought I'd go for lots of layers - overlapping images, overlapping DSP and overlapping photos.  You could also include layered embellishments in a little grouping. And don't forget to use the drop shadow to help make everything pop off the page.  Most of all - have fun with all the layers!

• Link directly to your Post for this challenge, not your entire blog. (So we can find your project)
• You can create a Card, Scrap Page or 3-D Object with the Sketch.

MDSM67... It's about LIFE!!

Hi everyone, Beth here with this weeks sketch challenge for you.

As most of you know, Stampin' Up! has teamed up with Becky Higgins of Project Life to bring her scrapbooking Style to SU!  And, luckily for us MDS Fans, they have also decided to bring the Project Life items to us in digital form too!  

For this weeks challenge I would like you to think inside the box, Project Life style.  Choose one of the page templates in the Project Life style, or start with a photo template in your MDS system, and create a page that has a Project Life style to it.   You do not have to use actual Project Life cards or stamps, you can also use any of the MDS Pocket card downloads, or even create your own.  Some of the MDS Pocket Card downloads include: "Chillin' Out Pocket cards",

"Do your Best", "What a day", "Happy Things", "Grateful", "Hello Fall", "Remember the Joy", " Retro Fresh", and " Rise and Shine".  There are probably more, I was surprised at how many there were when I was making the list!   And with your creativity, the list is endless.  

To the right are two Project Life style templates to get you started.

What a great set of pages for MDSM65... I love how everyone made my Sketch your own and they were all so different! It wasn't easy but I was able to narrow it down... Let's see who the Top Picks are:

MDSM59.. Heidi's Layering Trim!

Hi Everyone! It's Heidi, and I'm bringing you this week's page sketch challenge. I've had a page, created with traditional scrapbooking, on my digital to-do list so I can include it in the next round of photo-book printing.  Why not share it for everyone to play with?

I'd like to see some layered trim on your pages.  You could use a scallop border punch, or in my case, a string of larger circles.  What else can you think of?

MDSM55.. It's all about your State!

Welcome back to a new Challenge, it's Cindy here and I have a passion for state images! I love maps and anything to do with showing love across this land of ours. We all travel, right? My little twist in this scrap sketch is to change the state or province and add wooden embellishments and chevron or arrow elements to the page. I highly recommend getting the Fifty Nifty Kit download OR the Providence of Provinces Kit download if you do not have it!

MDSM53 Beth's getting Scrappy!

Hi everyone!  Beth here with this weeks scrap challenge.  I just love to find ways to use up my scraps when I craft with real paper, but there are no "scraps" in the digital world.  My challenge for you this week is to pretend that you do have "scraps" and to create a fun background with your "scraps".   Use the sketch as a starting point, but let your creativity go with the scraps.  Make a pattern, or go with a  random look.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

MDSM51.. Stitches & Stars!

Welcome back to MDS Monday.. It's Holly here and I'm your hostess for this round. Before we get to the challenge I'd like to say a Big Thank you to our DT member Beth for creating our new Header! We thought we needed a fresh new look! You'll also see some new winner badges from her on Sunday as well.

It's a Page Sketch week and a few months back I saw a page somewhere online and though it'd make a great sketch. I also thought some stitching with it would be fun too.. So. dig though your kits and embellishments and find some cool stitches or you can use the freeform line tool to create your own stitches.
