A Great Friendship mulitplies the good in Life ~ Scrap the girls
Hello !
Today I would like to share my layout for the challenge at Scrap the girls.
My daughters wedding is just a few short weeks away ( getting excited ) and I have started putting a album together for her. The challenge at Scrap the girls inspired me to scrap one of the photos from her hens get together a couple of weeks ago.
The Sketch....
and this is my take on the sketch
I used "Wilted Violet " distress oxide and "Cracked Pistachio" distress oxide on a sponge to colour around the photo
Thanks so much for calling by, I hope your weekend is a beautiful one

Butterfly Kisses ~ Megs Garden
Hello !
Today I would like to share one of my DT layouts for Megs Garden.
I know this is a fave photo of my Granddaughter's with my Mum "Granma" as everyone called Mum, so I wanted to create the layout for my Granddaughter.
I have used the gorgeous In the Water Colour Garden Range from Megs Garden as the pattern reminded me of Lilac (it is prob Wisteria though) , but our family home had Lilac trees right around the perimeter , so when the bushes were in bloom the house was always filled with vases /jugs of Lilac.
Everything on the layout can be found in Megs Store, besides the purple flowers , which are from my Mum's Craft stash.
Thank You for calling by, I appreciate your comments and would love you to pop over to Megs Blog and leave some love as well.

Krakow ~ Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge
Hello fellow scrappers, today I would like to share the new challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge with you. This month the challenge is to use the colour purple. You can create a layout, card , canvas whatever you choose. I decided to get another Travel layout documented and play with some mists.
I've also used some old rubons and added stamping.
The statue is of Adam Mickiewicz the greatest Polish Romantic Poet of the 19th Century and stands in the Main Square Old Town.
I would have liked to have had more time in Krakow, but unfortunalety we could not arrange the train from Budapest to Krakow as we had intended and had to change our travel plans which gave us a extra day in Budapest which was good but only ended up with only a coupleof days in Krakow, which was not so good. I enjoyed the short time in Krakow, but know there was so much more to see.
I hope you join us in the challenge and get your purple on :)
Happy Creating

Just Like a Butterfly I will awaken in my own time ~ Megs Garden
Hello fellow scrappers , today I would like to share a couple of projects for Megs Garden
Firstly a layout using the new In The Watercolour Garden Range, such a beautiful range!
For the link to the products I have used on the layout visit Megs Blog here
There is also a link to the entire range on YouTube . I have a daughter getting married next month and I think this range will be perfect.
The next project I would like to share is a memory journal I created for a Pen Pal . If you click on the link it will take you to the YouTube slide of the journal. I made the journal with Megs Gardens gorgeous products, which can all be found in Megs Shop
Thank you for calling by,I really appreciate any comments.
Meanwhile someone forgot to tell Winter to move along and Spring to come on in . I really don't like the cold, but not much one can do about the weather. Thinking of all those experiencing cyclones etc at the moment, so I shouldn't complain about a little cold.

Blossoms and Bees ~ Kraft plus challenge
Hello fellow scrappers, today I would like to share my layout for the challenge at Kraft plus. Which is ....
I also love it when I use old stash up.
The prompt made me think of a photo I took at work a couple of years ago, so the perfect opportunity to scrap it. The thing I love about challenges it gets me to scrap photo's I might not have thought to do so.
This is my take
Blossoms and Bees
I also love it when I use old stash up.
Everything on the page is stash I have had for ages. The blossoms are old flowers from my Mums craft stash, Goodness knows how old they are.
Thanks so much for calling by, I really appreciate any feedback. Have a wonderful week . It is suppose to be Spring and it is freezing here ! Hopefully it will warm up soon and all these flues and colds will clear up that a lot of people are experiencing .

The Story of the Christmas Bauble ~ A2Z Sept Challenge
Good Morning ! I am popping by to share another new challenge to inspire you hopefully to get those Christmas Photos waiting to be scrapped out and documented , and by joining in the challenge at A2Z Scraplets you will be in the running to win some yummy chipboard.
So the challenge is to create a Christmas layout using no Red or Green .
This is my take
I have used the lovely flourish from A2Z Scraplets . My idea is the flourish acts as the hanger for the words to be like baubles . I embossed the flourish with Colour Blast Snow White. Because I have primed the flourish with gesso beforehand it turned out a lovely silver colour, perfect for Christmas.
We all have our own Christmas Bauble with our name on it & we all place our own bauble on the tree. Over the last few years it has become a bit of a thing that the baubles get placed in all weird and wonderful places, each trying to out do the other. This is My Grandson with my Son in laws bauble whom since becoming part of the family the boys say he has to earn his place and having the disadvantage of not being at the last couple of putting up the Christmas tree there is always much debate as to where his bauble ends up .
Once decided upon its position they take a photo and send it to my son in law as to where his bauble was placed. All a bit of fun and now part of our traditions.
We hope you join us in the challenge and upload your entries to our facebook page.
Christmas is not that far away , so hopefully this challenge will get you in the Christmas Spirit .
