A GREAT FRIENDSHIP MULTIPLIES THE GOOD IN LIFE ~ KAISERCRAFT CHALLENGE

Hello popping in on this cold winters day to share a layout for the challenge at Kaisercraft. I came upon it yesterday and the criteria is circles, I do like circles :)
I borrowed a photo from facebook of my daughter and her bestfriend

They were on a special assignment this particular weekend , choosing a bridesmaid dress for Amy, for Chelsea's upcoming wedding. The weekend was a success ( they have shopping down to a fine art these two )
They have been bestfriends since little girls, and I love them dearly. They are a funny pair, very different , yet very alike, they compliment each other I guess.

I have used the Kaiser Wildflower Collection , which was perfect for documenting a friendship.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Hello ! popping in to share what I have been up to lately .
Firstly I am sharing my DT layout for A2Z Scraplets

The Chipboard pieces were perfect to create a little ocean scene and brought a simple photo , that I probably never thought I would scrap to life. For the links to the chipboard I have used you can find on the post over at the A2Z Scraplets blog.  Also I have described how I treated the chipboard. Flair is from Funky Flair Studio

Another DT Layout for A2Z Scraplets is a bit different for me , as I normally don't scrap many Bright pages, but some photo's just call for bright and happy

Next layout I created for the challenge at Soul Scrappers ~ Sunsets/ sunrises.
I chose to scrap a photo my Middle child took when he was living overseas , a photo of a Parisian Sunset 

And finally one that is close to my heart ~ well most of my layouts are close to my heart , as that is why we scrap them right ? But some are just a little more so. This is my two boys when they were little with my Dad, I miss my Dad.
This layout is also for a challenge at Soul Scrappers to use the letter L on your layout . I have used the word Life

A COUPLE OF SHARES

Hello fellow scrappers, just popping in to share a couple of layouts with you. 
The first is a layout I did for the challenge at Sketchy Boards
and the inspiration

I was inspired by the colourful street photo.
This photo was taken in a town in Ireland. My pen friend from Dublin sent me the flags, so I thought it was good to use on a Irish layout :)

The next is for a challenge at Home and Scrapped
The challenge to use your stash and stripes

So I used some old Kaiser Paper I had and the heart journal shape under my photo I have had forever. The photo is of my daughter when she was a little one.

Flair is from Funky Flair Studio I do like to pop a flair on a layout.

and lastly a layout for a challenge over at Soul Scrappers.
The challenge is to use the quote "Home is where my Mum is "

My Mum loved birds, so the Pattern Paper inspired me to create this layout. The photo is taken at our family home celebrating my Dad's 90th. Unfortunately my eldest Brother had already left when the photo was taken.

A couple of layouts to share ~ Soul Scrappers

Hello on this cold winters afternoon.
I have a couple of layouts to share with you if you wish to take a look.
Firstly I created this layout for a fun challenge at Soul Scrappers.
We are sent a packet of goodies and need to use them all on our layout and the theme is Book Lovers

I chose to scrap a photo of my daughter and her friends , having just arrived in London and trying to find their bearings and the tourist sights. I think my daughter became the chief Map Reader (takes after her father ) me, can't read a map to save myself !
I was happy to use some really old PP I have had for awhile as well.

The next layout is also for Soul Scrappers, the criteria to create a layout about and using the word Hope .

This is my two Grandchildren and I taking part in the Cancer Awareness walk. My hope is that one day there will be a cure for this dreadful disease and we are very thankful that My daughter in law has recovered from Breast Cancer with flying colours .

If you are looking for some challenges to inspire you to scrap , Soul Scrappers have a lot of challenges to choose from to get the creative juices stirring & the mind thinking out of the box. HAPPY MEMORY ~ ANOTHER FREAKING SCRAPPY CHALLENGE ~ JUNE CHALLENGE

Hello scrappers, another post for the day, but a new month brings lots of new challenges :)
The new challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge this month is all about weddings. As my daughter is getting married in a few months time , this is the wedding on my mind at the moment.
Lucky for me My daughters best friend took this photo when we had the day looking for the wedding dress.

I think it is a nice memory to start the wedding album. Friends asked me would I shed a tear ? I said Nah, don't think I will........ Well of course when she came out in the dress quess who cried ? Yep me . I am so hopeless, but it really is a special time and I was so happy to be part of it. Her father is going to be a blubbering mess I reckon when he sees her on the day.

I hope you drag out those wedding photo's and join us in this cool challenge.

Every Picture Tells a story ~ Artastic Challenge June

Good Morning and Yay for the weekend !
Over at Artastic the challenge this month is Vintage and anyone that knows me, knows that is a style I really enjoy. I also happened to have just got some Kaisercraft Papers in the Keepstake Collection that are perfect for this style.

I was inspired by Lizzy Hill to purchase the little heart punch from Kmart. I already had heart punches and I resisted for awhile, but it really is a nice shape and size, I have already used it heaps. I also was inspired by Lizzy to cut the heart in half two make a two toned heart .

NEW CHALLENGE AT ARCHISCRAPS

Good Morning a new month a new season  ~ winter , I am not a fan of the cold but never mind . 
This months Challenge at Archiscraps ~ the prompt

The criteria is to use something hanging or a moveable part. It could be a charm, flowers a pullable tab etc.

Here is my take

I used the hanging flowers in my photo as inspiration.
