SugarPea Designs new May release now available!

Today is the last day of the showcases for the SugarPea Designs new release for May, which means they are going to also be released in the store today!  Today the team have created some gorgeous projects using three new sets - the Teddybear Picnic and Bee My Honey (this month's freebie fromthe Sweet Incentive Program if you spend $60 or more in the store!) stamp sets and the SugarCuts Thanks die.  Here is my DT make using the SugarCuts Thanks die...

I also used the hearts die cuts from the SugarCuts Notched Heart Journal Card die for the shaker along with some teeny tiny beeds.

Doughnutty delicious!

Happy weekend all!  I haven't managed to do much crafting this week what with sorting out our move to New Zealand!  We've been so busy getting estate agents round, doing some decorating, finding out about exporting cars, what we need to do for Visa...whew!  But I did manage to make a card last night using some gorgeous SugarPea Designs goodies!

So I thought I would make a thank you card - I'm going to need plenty of these to hand out before we leave as we have had so many offers to help us with our move.

I love doughnuts!  But I haven't had one for years - I get fat just looking at them!  These are from the Classroom Cupids stamp set (love that font style!) and the tag is made using the Sugar Cuts Gift Tag.

Okay, I am off again to do some more work on our move!  But I will see you all later as I'm going to do a blog round as I miss seeing all of your creations!

There's a new challenge over at the Alicia Bel blog today and the theme is Candy Treats.  Perfect to get those Easter cards done for next month, but I actually went for a birthday card instead using the very cute Gretel...

Ack!  She is so so adorable!  I love her little pigtails!  I matched her up with NitWit Collection papers called One Birdie Lane and the border and speech bubble borders are Lawn Fawn.  And do you like the sentiment?  Great font, I think - it's from the SugarPea Designs Classroom Cupids stamp set.

What a nice surprise!

I had completely forgotten that I had completed a magazine commission last November for Lili of the Valley and it was being published this month so what a nice surprise I had when I saw it on the shop shelf today with one of my cards making the front page!

Yep, that's my girlie card on the front - I am sure Christine will be very proud of me using so much pink!  Here's a peek at the cards I made...

I used papers from the Country Meadow and Snow Princess pads and you can find all of the girl stamps in this section here.  I used my new Polychromos pencils and lots of My Favorite Things dies.

I'm off now to do all of my post holiday ironing and later going for a family dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll be back on Tuesday with my SugarPea Designs DT post.  Ta ta!
