Alicia Bel's very first challenge!

(Please scroll down for my SugarPea Designs
and La-La Land Crafts DT posts!)

It's the start of the Alicia Bel challenges and to make it as easy peasy as possible for you, the theme is ANYTHING GOES!  So no excuse not to join in, lol!  Here is my DT using the cool Melanie At The Gym...

Isn't she cool?  And I loved colouring her in too.  I thought this would be a good encouragement card for my friend who is on a mission to lose a lot of weight and she's doing really well so far.

I think the papers are by Digital Design Essentials and I used my Craft Concepts star embossing folder, topped off with a Lil' Inker Designs die cut heart with a lickle ickle button!

I hope you can join in with our challenge for a chance to win an Alicia Bel digi.  You can get all the deets and more gorgeous DT inspiration over at the blog here.

Thanks for visiting and I'll see you on my blog rounds later today - ttfn!

Best witches! And a new Whimsie Doodle challenge!

It's time a for new monthly challenge over at Whimsie Doodles and this month the theme is GETTING KINDA SPOOKY!  Even though I don't celebrate Halloween, I totally love making cards for it!  Here is my Doodlelicious Diva make using the super gorgeous Lizzie Standing Witch...

She's so beautiful and I love her little outfit with her stripy socks!  I also used La-La Land Crafts bats and fence dies and the star embossing is Craft Concepts.  The orange striped paper is a bit of scrap so can't remember who that's by - sorry!

Check out the rest of the Doodlelicious Diva spooky inspiration and get all the deets on how to win prizes over at the blog here!  I'll be back on Friday with my La-La Land Crafts DT post - see you then!

Everybody needs a house fairy

It's Bellarific Friday - yay!  And this week we had a photo to inspire us so this is what I came up with...

So I was inspired by the colours and the home theme.  And this fun fairy with the matching sentiment is Mo Manning's House Fairy - we all need one of these for the home!  Check out more Bella Babe inspiration over at the blog here.

The next challenge is this sketch...

Send your creations to Em by Thursday 9 August for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!  I will see you today on my blog rounds!

Monster cuteness!

Hey, did you hear that Paula, Pollycrafts owner and illustrator, has re-opened her shop?  She closed it last year, what with having a baby and needing a break, but she missed drawing so much that she has decided to come back!  You can check out her news here.  She is only selling new digis (you can still get her older ones via Little Miss Muffet) and they are so darn cute!  So, the old design team have created some samples and here are my ones.  The first one uses Party Monster...

Look at the pleasure on his face - he can't wait to eat that cupcake!  I used Echo Park Little Boy papers and stickers and my Craft Concepts star embossing folder.  Here's my second card using Sweet Monster...

I loved this cross eyed cutie too!  I used the same papers, a Paper Smooches sentiment and my Darice chevron embossing folder, topped off with a stripped ribbon from my stash.

You can check out more gorgeous inspiration over at Paula's blog here.  Thanks for visiting and I will see you later on my blog rounds!

The cutest batsman ever!

(Please scroll down for my Tuesday Morning Sketches
guest designer post!)

It's Tuesday which means it's By Lori Designs Inspirations Tuesday!  I decided to use Puddle Jumper Baseball Boy - I think he is so adorable with his cap, bat and ball!

The sentiment is also By Lori Designs from the new set called New Everyday Sentiments II.  I matched the little lad up with Lisa Sisneros digi papers and used the Lil' Inker Designs notebook die. You can't see it from the photos but I dry embossed the black cardstock with a star embossing folder.

Check out more of the gorgeous inspiration over at the blog here.  I'm off but I'll see you again soon - thanks for visiting!

I loved playing with this sketch!  I used Echo Park Sweet Summertime papers and did some reverse embossing with my Craft Concepts star embossing folder.   I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp challenge for happy birthday.

Coco is so sweet!

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you're enjoying the nice long weekend to celebrate Easter - we have lots of family events to attend so I'll be overweight and all talked out by the time I go back to work on Tuesday!

MilkCoffee Stamps is sponsoring this week's Sketch Saturday challenge so I've made my Guest Designer card for it using Coco With Her Bird...

I just love sweet Coco!  I matched her up with Echo Park papers and used my Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Rectangles Mat die embossed with a Craft Concepts embossing folder.  I also used the MFT Die-Namics - Large Leaf Filled Flourish and topped off the daisies with Doodlebug gems.  I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

I hope you can play along for a chance to win some MCS digis!  Thanks for visiting and I'll be back tomorrow with my Bellarific Babe card!

TSG Penelope/Nutmeg/Journal Lines Blog Hop Challenge

It's Day Two of this month's There She Goes blog hop challenges, and we have the first of our two new artists releasing 3 AMAZING new stamp sets!!

This month we are introducing a BRAND new artist to There She Goes, Megan Suarez, illustrator of cute those Dilly Beans!! She has started us out with three FABULOUS stamp sets, which we think you are going to love. Her style is a touch on the side of gothic, but so much fun. We can’t wait to see what’s next with this AMAZING designer!!

Penelope & Birdcage is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 4 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Nutmeg is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 5 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Journal lines is a 3x4 set that includes 1 stamp, and will sell for $9.00.

Here is my make using Penelope...

Isn't she adorable?  I love the simplicity of her and the matching sentiment is so sweet too!  There is also a bird in a cage that matches this set which I love too!  I matched her up with Sara Schmutz Nursery Rhymes digi papers, used my Craft Concepts embossing folder and my Little Miss Muffet banner die finished with some twine.  I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

Would you like to win all three new stamp sets from Megan Suarez?  Visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.  You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, March 30th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

I'll be back tomorrow with Day 3 of the There She Goes Blog Hop Challenge!

It's retail therapy!

Happy Saturday everyone!  I am feeling much better today - thanks to the doc who gave me some ABs!  Poor Steve has caught my cold though so he's in bed - I hate it when he's ill as he's so miserable but I love it too as I get to craft all day with no interruptions!

Anyhoo, I am just sharing a card I made for this sketch over at There She Goes...

Oh my, this little lady is so beautiful!  She is from the Sparkly & Bright stamp set, created by one of my all time fave illustrators, Torico.  I wish I had her talent!  I used Zoe Pearn's A Beautiful Thing papers and paper pieced her dress (which I would love to own too!).  I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp for paper piecing.

Okay, I am off for a day of crafting and keeping warm!

Ain't he the sweetest?!  This is Summer Monkey from the Snugly Giftables collection, currently in digi form but will be retiring this weekend. But don't worry, the good news is that he is now available in rubber here!

I matched him up with New Found Happiness digi papers by Sweet Shoppe Designs, the star embossing folder by Craft Concepts and of course I had to add some bunting using my My Favorite Things die!
