Seabreeze Layout

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a beach  mixed media layout with you that I created with some of the fabulous Creative Embellishments chipboards. I selected the Nautical 6 pieces set  chipboard and gave a coat of gesso, after dry I took a sponge and applied Distress Oxide Ink in Vintage Photo color to all the chipboards to create a vintage, rusty effect.  The paper is from the Double Dot collection by Bo Bunny. I did the same techniques that I gave to the other chipboards to the word Seabreeze from the Beach Word Set 2 . I love how the different nautical pieces looks on the background. I I gave texture on the background with a texture crackle paste with 3D powder.  Then I painted the background with Color Blooms. You can see from this angle all the textures and dimension. Other supplies I used: Double Dot papers by Bo Bunny gesso, flowers, Color Blooms, Gel medium, Crackle paste art ...

Patina Effect Mixed Media Canvas

Hello everyone!  I have a mixed media canvas to share with today using the Creative Embellishments chipboard.  I love fairies and fantasy themes so I created a canvas with the Film Strip Picture and the Fairies chipboards. Let’s take a look… I created a design using the chipboard Film Strip Pictures and added one of the pretty Fairies inside the big film strip.  Then I added the words Live, Happy from the Happy Word Set inside the other film strips. Then I gave two coats of gesso over all the chipboard pieces and the canvas.  Once it’s dry I gave the Patina effect . I painted the chipboards with the turquoise color then I apply the textured mint green paint and finally I added  the brass color to create the Patina effect that it’s a trend lately . I also added textures with art stones, micro beads, pearls, buttons, flowers and glass beads that I adhered with gel medium. Other products I used: Prim...

A Vintage Christmas layout & Video tutorial for Blue Fern Studios

Hello! I made this layout and video tutorial with the new Vintage Christmas 2 collection by Blue Fern Studios. Blue Fern Studios launched the Vintage Christmas 1 and Vintage Christmas 2 collections this season, also flowers, embossing powders and chipboards. This paper is called the Twas the Night and I love these colors the green-blue, beige and red.  I also worked with the Holidays Cards and the Tree Trimming paper on my page. This is a memory of our last Christmas in Puerto Rico, here are my daughter Paola and my niece Sabrina three years ago. Behind the photo is the Large Flake that I embossed with snow and sea mist embossing powders. The Christmas Blooms and the Soft Blooms were mixed in this page. Look at the beautiful Santa image and the design on the paper, so pretty! My title is the "Twas the night before Christmas" chipboard  that I also embossed with snow and sea mist embossing powders.
