Nails Inc. Chelsea Physic Garden + Hyde Park Gate, LCN Mint Green Easter + Blue Candy – Swatch Spam

As promised last Friday, here is the first September Friday swatch spam post: two pastels from Nails Inc. and two from LCN.

Chelsea Physic Garden:
Nails Inc. Chelsea Physic Garden (spring/summer 2013) is an adorable baby blue cream. It is well pigmented and easy to work with, and you see it in two easy coats with a top coat.

Hyde Park Gate:
Nails Inc. Hyde Park Gate was an LE in 2012 I believe. It’s a really pretty pastel green cream, and for normal use two easy coats is enough, but for these photos I added an extra but no top coat.

Mint Green Easter:
LCN Mint Green Easter is a slightly dusty mint cream, I prefer them brighter. This is 2 coats with a top coat.

Blue Candy:
LCN Blue Candy is a gorgeous light blue with a subtle shimmer not visible to the naked eye. It’s shown in 2 coats with a top coat.
Do you like them, I like them all except the dusty mint LCN...

Nails Inc. swatches Sumner Place and Royal Botanical Gardens

In this post you can meet two random pastels from Nails Inc.
Nails Inc Sumner Place is a beautiful pastel yellow cream. The formula has a good self-leveling ability and it is easy to work with, and 2-3 coats are enough. This is 3 coats without a top coat.

Royal Botanical Gardens:
Nails Inc Royal Botanical Gardens is a light sky blue cream. The formula has a good self-leveling ability and it is easy to work with. This is 2 coats without a top coat.
I cannot choose which is the prettiest - fortunately have them both and love them ;)
How do you feel about them, any favorite?

Braided/fishtail manicure - Artsy Wednesday

This week’s challenge in Artsy Wednesday is braided – I thought it would be so difficult, but it wasn’t really, only a little time consuming and an awful lot of layers of polish.
But it was fun to try, and I did like the look of it, even though it could have been more perfect.
The base color is Nails Inc. Sumner Place (the yellow) and the pink is Essie Lovie Dovie and the blue is Essie Bikini So Teeny – and the top coat is Seche Vite.
CutePolish has a very helpful tutorial HERE
Check out what the other girls in Artsy Wednesday did in this weeks challenge
Michelle - Lab Muffin,  Alanna - Pretty Purple Polish, Tif - Polished Genious, (not this week: Lyndsey - Nails by Ms. Lizard), Catrine - Unnakednails, Melanie - Nail & Polish, Jessica - Beauty Gnome, Kamen - Kaka Beauty Blog, Emily - An Accent Nail,

Nationality - Artsy Wednesday

The theme in our Artsy Wednesday is this week Independence Day – and my interpretation is my national background - I have chosen to paint flags a little twist.
I live in Denmark and am a Danish citizen – thus my index.
My parents both were from Finland – thus my middle finger.
I was born in Sweden – thus my ring finger.
My surname from birth is German and still is. My grandfather moved as a young man from Germany to Finland – so I painted the German flag on my pinkie.

Used colors/brugte farver: China Glaze Hey Sailor, OPI Alpine Snow, Nails Inc. Baker Street, acrylic color.
