Oh yes, pastel yellow ;)

Mint Polish Tart is a beautiful pastel yellow cream. The formula is really nice to work with, it has a really good self leveling ability. Two rich coats might be enough, but I chose to add an extra for these photos, and I didn’t use a top coat, the self leveling ability is great.

Mint Polish Ice Cube and Lavender Macaron swatches

Today I have two Mint Polish pastels for you!

Ice Cube:

Mint Polish Ice Cube is a pale and delicate mint cream polish. It is very opaque in one coat, can be used as a one-coater, but this is two with a top coat. The self-leveling ability is really good.

Lavender Macaron:

Mint Polish Lavender Macaron is a pale and delicate lavender cream. The self-leveling ability is really good and this is 2 coats with a top coat.

Flowers for dirty Shirley

The base color is the amazing Mint Polish Dirty Shirley, see swatches HERE. I totally love this polish and could easily have worn it without nail art, so I went for a little French flower mani with an accent nail. As always I painted the flowers with acrylic craft color and the top coat is Seche Vite!Grundfarven er den smukke Mint Polish Dirty Shirley, se swatches HER. Jeg elsker denne lak og kan let gå med den uden nail art, så jeg gik efter noget enkelt, en lille fransk blomstermani med en accent negl. Som altid malede jeg blomsterne med akrylfarve og toplakken er Seche Vite.

Mint Polish swatches: Dirty Shirley and Original Mint

I have a lot of swatches, so no nail art today.
But I do have two gorgeous polishes from MINT POLISH (unfortunately they only ship within USA) that I got through this amazing swap with my dear friend and polish "sister" Lydia!
I can tell you right now, I'm in love with these well pigmented polishes, both from the collection "One coat wonders" - and that is true!

 

 

 

First we have Mint Polish Dirty Shirley - an AMAZING polish, described like this by the maker: "This bright and incandescent pink has fruity hints of maraschino and a gorgeous pearlescent sheen in the sunlight. Inspired by a best friend's cocktail of choice, Dirty Shirley is a classic pink with a kick."
It was opaque in one coat only - but I did use two for these swatches. Dry time is good, the formula is perfect - and this color went right into my hot pink top favorite list - its quite amazing....!

 

 

Next we have Mint Polish Original Mint, also in two coats, even if one rich coat would have been enough. The maker describes it like this: "Part Tiffany's blue, part spearmint candy, and 100% gorgeous. Original Mint is a statement color, and the perfect addition to any polish collection." - to me it's a slightly dusty, greenish mint, not as bright as I prefer a mint - but very pretty anyhow!
Dry time and the formula was good - so I'm very happy with both!

Next 3 Illamasquas from my wish list: Nudge (a true lemming), Venous and Superstition - and another new brad that I wished for: Mint Polish Original Mint and Dirty Sheila that shifts between pink/hot pink and fuchsia with an amazing shimmer...

6 L'oreals from my wish list, the first 4 from the Versailles Romance coll.: Royally Yours, Pisachio dream, Creme puffs, Lacey lilac and 2 from the TRENDsetter coll.: Royally reinvented and Not a cloud in sight...

Look at that gorgeous Julie G Cabana Boy, it's so gorgeous, and two other new brands in my collection is Covergirl Vio-last and Flower by Drew Barrymore NP8 Good Bud-dy and finally Nicole by Opi Stand by Your Manni from the Modern Family coll.

From Sinful we have 4 from the Sugar rush coll: Sweeth Tooth, Candy Coated, Sugar Rush and Sugar n Spice. And two other Sinful's Star dust and Amethyst...

- and last but definitely not least 3 gorgeous bracelets, made by Lydia.
