Isadora City Light 237 swatches

Even if I am having kind of a blog vacation with only one daily post - the pastel Friday mornings goes on ;)

Isadora City Light 237 is from their Gel Lacquer line. It’s a warm toned pastel yellow (I prefer them colder), but pretty anyhow. The formula is nice and two coats are enough, but because of my ridges I added an extra + a coat of Seche Vite.
Do you like this warm-toned pastel yellow - or do you also prefer the colder-toned..?

Isadora Atlantis, Scuba Blue and Poseidon, Aquatic Trend coll. swatches

This Friday morning post brings you three bright and beautiful Isadora polishes from the Aquatic Trend collection spring/summer 2013: Atlantis, Scuba Blue and Poseidon.
They are well pigmented and are opaque in two rich coats or three thinner – I’m showing them with top coat.

Atlantis:
Isadora Atlantis 759 is a really beautiful bright and strong slightly blue-toned green cream. I have a “thing” for this type of green ;)

 Scuba Blue:
Isadora Scuba Blue 757 is an adorable bright light blue with a very subtle shimmer, not really visible to the naked eye – it’s the kind of light blue hat I love so much!

Poseidon:
Isadora Poseidon 760 is a gorgeous bright green cream, it makes me happy just by looking at it!
Do you like them..?
I find it difficult to choose because they are bright!!

The parrot and the baby dragon

The base color is Isadora Papagayo Blue and I dabbed Glitzology Baby Dragon along the cuticles and a bit downwards. Then I painted flowers in acylic paint, but unfortunately Papagayo bled through the colors when I top coated, it’s not the tc’s fault, read more about the subject HERE.
Bleeding colors also sometimes stain the nails, but fortunately that was not the case with Papagayo Blue.

Isadora swatches: Papagayo Blue and Crown Jewel

First we have Isadora Papagayo Blue from the Papagayo Summer make Up coll. 2012.
Papagayo is a mix of blue and purple, a so called blurple. It has a lovely shimmer and is easy to work with. Here you see two coats without a top coat.
OBS: I later painted nail art on it with my acrylic craft colors, and this color bleeds trough when it's top coated, read more about this subject right HERE

Next we have Isadora Crown Jewel from the 2013 Holiday coll. Shine Bright, the other polish in this collection is Angel Wings.
Crown Jewel is a beautiful royal purple with gorgeous shimmer. It is easy to work with, and here you see two coats without a top coat.

So, do you like them...?

Isadora swatches: Miami Blue, Meadow and Bella Vita

As I promised earlier today I have 3 lovely pastel colors from Isadora to show you...
All are shown in two coats and no top coat. The formula is flawless and the dry time is good.

First we have the gorgeous sky blue Miami Blue - I love this shade of blue - and admit that I have a lot of look-a-likes ;)

Meadow is a fairly pale pastel green, not as pale as many of the almost white mint/pastel greens we have seen this season - it is more green - and quite pretty, I think...

Bella Vita is a lovely lavender with a very shy shimmer....

Do you like these pastels - and do you own any Isadora Polishes...?

Isadora swatches: Marzipan, Persian Princess and Icy Lilac

Here are 3 of my Isadora polishes - I love their quality and the dry time is good...

First we have the gorgeous spring green cream called Marzipan - I really love this fresh green color!
2 coats, no top coat..

Secondly the gorgeus purple shimmer polish called Persian Princess - a beauty, right??
Again 2 coats - no top coat...

The last is the lovely lilac called Icy Lilac packed with shimmer. BUT it is shown over a white polish. IMO it pops much better that way - and it's 2 coats and no top coat.

Flawless application, quick dry time and good wear - more than approved!

My German haul - and a hint for the soon ending Guessing giveaway....

As a little hint for the Guessing giveaway that ends in 6 days - I can tell you that the below polishes all are in this bowl.
It is possible to change your guess in the Rafflecopter widget ;)
AND I added an ADDITIONAL giveaway on the same page, it's now possible to win a 300DKK gift card for my shop at Micro Paintings by Maria....

So here they are, the polishes that I bought for myself during my week en the southern parts of Germany.... Polish in Denmark is incredibly expensive, so I tend to shop like a mad woman when I go to Germany, there I said it myself ;)

From Manhattan I was lucky to find the 3 from the Pastel Pretties LE coll. that I wanted: 001, 004, 003, (see swatches HERE) and the other 3 are: 26S, 18S and from the retired LE coll. Lollipop Alpenrock I found 02 - oh I wish they had real names, not just numbers...

I had to own these new and absolutely gorgeous P2 Volume Gloss polishes:100 heavenly girl, 130 fresh sister, 030 sweet darling and 090 red lady

More P2: 030 Sweet harmony (Let's Rock coll.), 620 artful, 650 fever, 570 so cool! and 030 tangerine twist from the Summer Attack coll.

I found two Essence from the Floral Grunge coll that I hoped to find: 03 Grunge Me Tender "The Suede" and 02 Lily Bloom "The Pearl", I also found the Essence Nail Art Twins that I hoped to find: Edward & Bella - and finally I had to grab 149 Hello Marshmellow!

Two new brands in my collection: Beyu 246 and 516 - Misslyn 753 Star Dust top coat and 674

LCN is also a new brand in my collection these two pretty blue's are Cat Clouds and Blue Lily Cat. Astor Fashion Studio 240 Yellow Buttercup is my first Astor - and finally Maybelline 615 Mint For Life.

I only found two from the Catrice Candy Shock coll., (swatches on Saturday) if anyone can help me with the pastel purple I Scream: Ice Cream - I would be happy? They are C02 Play It Blue, C04 Vanilla Love and the 2 Isadora polishes: Miami Blue and Meadow.

Catrice: 15 Denim More, 13 Shopping Day At Bluemingdales, 13 Even More Heavy Metallilac, 05 Earnie & Birdie and 32 The Dark Knight

Finally a few polishes that I haven't really decided whether to keep or swap...
