Fantastic confetti flowers

The base color is Chanel Fantastic 481 - see swatches HERE - and I added Ciate Confetti to the tips. Before adding a coat of Seche Vite, I painted flowers going across the nails with acrylic craft paint.

Confetti Poison

The base color is the gorgeous blackened purple Dior Poison 996, see swatches HERE, and along the cuticle line I sponged Ciate Confetti before I painted my flowers with acrylic craft color. The top coat is Seche Vite.
I didn’t want to remove this mani again, I could have worn it forever ;)

The apple kid’s flowers

The base color is Rainbow Honey Apple Kid, and from the cuticles and down I dabbed a little holographic micro glitter, Ciate Confetti. I painted my flowers with acrylic craft color and top coated with Seche Vite. I bought this polish from Edgy Polish.
Blogger changes some colors when I change the size from medium to large, so in person Apple Kid is not quite  as hot pink...

Flowers for Vedrana

Earlier today I showed you swatches of the beautiful Aura Inches 323 One Step Too Early, that the sweet Vedrana from Cajkine kandže i sve njihove boje sent for my birthday...
So these flowers are for you, my friend!
The base color is the gorgeous Aura Inches 323 One Step Too Early. Then I randomly sponged my nails with the the gorgeous holographic micro glitter Ciate Confetti to add some bling, and then I painted simple flowers without overpowering the pretty polish. The top coat is as usual Seche Vite.
I hope you liked my flowers Vedrana, and once again - thank you so much!!

Birthday flowers and polish presents

For my 60th birthday I wore this mani!
The base color is Chanel Suspicious 561 and I sponged my thumbs and upper parts of the other nails dripping downwards with Ciate Confetti. Then I painted the flowers with acrylic craft color and top coated with Seche Vite.

I had a wonderful day, wonderful guests, perfect sunny weather, my husband prepared some amazing food for us all - an informal and relaxed day in the garden - just like I wanted it!
I got a lot of lovely presents, mostly money for polish and vacations - but the mail man also brought me highly unexpected presents - ohhh, I love that kind ;)

Sweet Vedrana sent me this wonderful parcel with a lemming of mine: Aura Inches 323 One Step too Early, a gorgeous true eggplant purple, 2 very pretty Don Juan One Coat polishes, beautiful ear rings and yummi chocolate!
If you do not already follow Vedrana's BLOG - you should, she shows her readers a lot of pretty polishes :)
Thank you so, so much Vedrana, for this unexpected and lovely parcel, it made me so very happy <3

The sweet Katarina from Edgy Polish sent me these wonderful polishes - 2 Bootie Babe's (the coolest and funniest bottles ever LOL) and 2 Glitter Gal - thanks a lot Katarina, as soon as I get better time I will swatch them!!

My dear friend Elena from PicturedTinsel sent me all these marvelous polishes, a lot of gems, those Milani's are sooo pretty, thank you so, so much Elena <3

Another totally unexpected parcel came from sweet Laura, that I have come to know trough Danish and Scandinavian nail polish groups and we also were in last years birthday group together. The Dumle's might/might not have been in a higher number before this photo;) and the polishes are the lemming K.B. Shimmer Snow Way, a pretty sheer yellow effect polish from PA and a Pure Ice in a favorite shade: magenta with blue shimmer, called Jamaica me Crazy.
I was so touched by this Laura, thank you sooo very much!!

Birthday flowers

It's my birthday today - so what more appropriate than to use Confetti Happy Birthday from a swap with KarenD as the base color for my birthday mani?
And to make sure I got some flowers I sponged the tips with Butter London Wallis and painted some in acrylic colors, and the top coat is Seche Vite!

Nail Mail from KarenD

Do you know the kind of person that sends you twice as many polishes as you sent to her...?
That's the kind of person that KarenD from Frazzle and Aniploish is...
Karen had in a comment written that she would like to get some Catrice polishes, so I wrote that I was heading for a one-day trip to Germany, so I could get her some. She made a wish list of 8, and I said we could swap more if she wanted, but no, that was it, so of they went as soon as I was home again...
Karen gave me some brand names and I made a few wishes, and said that she could choose the rest. And one day the mail man brought 17 polishes from Karen - yes 17!!!
I emailed her and said that I probably owed her some money for all those nice goodies - and she replied: Absolutely not - it's the same price to ship that kind of mailer no matter what it weighs, so after I put in the bottles I'd bought for you, I filled the rest of the space with things from my swap boxes that have been hanging around my house being ignored for way too long.
Thanks a million Karen, you are simply the best!

And here they are:

Julie G: Fierce & Fab - a neon purple, My Horoscope Says - a metallic fuchsia, Fairytale - a lavender and Gelato In Venice - a mint green
Sinful: Hottie - a cobalt rainbow glitter, Boob Boom - a hot berry-pink, Petites Color Fever: Raspberry - a metallic raspberry and Electric Indigo - a metallic sky blue
Milani Chocolate Sprinkles - a dark brown with golden shimmer and Sail Away - a blue jeans/denim sort of blue with shimmer
Confetti: Happy Birthday - a gorgeous dark purple with a lot of lovely shimmer going on, To Teal To Handle - a teal with a subtle shimmer, Spoiled: First Class Only - a medum blue with a lot of shimmer and Are Mermaids Real? - a grape purple with a lot of sand and gold shimmer
Hedy's oke.doke: Camo Loco - a mossy/olive/army kind of metallic green with shimmer, Steal This Teal - MUCH darker IRL, kind of dark, dusty grey/green/blue with shimmer and finally Purple Nurple - a eggplant purple (also darker than shown) with delightful shimmer in it!
