Hello and happy Friday! It's Sarah here today to share a clean and simple Christmas card that doesn't use holiday stamps.
Sometimes the most simple, heartfelt, and joyous sentiments are the best for conveying holiday joy. This celebratory little ditty in our Hippie Chic set strikes just the right chord. I paired it with the dove and olive branch from the same set, and our Here Comes the Sun background for a fresh take on a Christmas card. Here Comes the Sun has a lot of great distressing details and I noticed that those little speckles look an awful lot like snowflakes when you stamp it with sky blue ink on white or cream cardstock. I used a pine border punch and a palette of blues and cream to reinforce that wintery feeling.
The design of this card is quick to reproduce in large quantities, but more importantly, easy to mail in a flat envelope. And although they aren't collecting any more holiday cards this year, flat designs like this are great for Operation Write Home, an organization that provides handmade cards that the U.S. armed forces can use to write home.
