The Petting Zoo

A few weeks ago we took Grace to Thanksgiving Point to check out the petting zoo. She loved it! She is a brave little girl. She went right up to all the animals and touched them with no hesitation. My favorite was seeing her ride the pony. She looked like such a big girl. Every time she would come back around and see me she would get this big grin on her face like, "look what I could do mom". Aawww, my little girl is growing up! Then before we left Mark wanted to buy her this little stuffed animal pony, no big deal. Neither of us realized she would have to have it every where she goes. Even last night during her bath time the horsie had to sit right on the edge of the tub or Grace would freak out. I'm just glad it didn't fall in! Ha! She's giving her pony kisses below....

Snow White's Cranky Halloween

Grace was Snow White for halloween this year. I had to wake her up to go to our trunk or treat and she was NOT HAPPY! She was SO cranky until we finally got there and she started collecting candy, and she instantly pepped up! As you can tell she loves her candy! She went with her friends, Trey and Opal. They were all so cute. Yeah, I don't know why eveything I wrote is underlined. Ha!

We're Moving On

This past Sunday Mark got released from the single's ward bishopric. Whahoo! I can be excited, right!? We have had a great time being in the singles ward. We learned a lot, and I could see Mark growing in so many ways. We will really will miss it. But it's just about time for nursery and for married people.

Where Have I Been?

Wow, it's been a while since I posted! We have been pretty busy these last few weeks. We had my brother, Josh and his wife, Sarah come stay with us at the end of September. We had so much fun with them. But of course I forgot to take any pictures of their trip here, whoops!
Then we had a nice little surprise...our water heater broke and slowly leaked all over kitchen, only we didn't know until about the 2nd or 3rd day when we noticed that water was seeping up on the floor every time we took a step! Yeah, it was bad! So we had to rip out all of our kitchen floor and get a new water heater. Luckily, we had insurance and they paid for everything, I think we even came out a few hundred dollars ahead, and ended up getting a little nicer quality floors then we had before, not bad, huh. Get insurance, it's worth it!
Then Mark's parents and little brother came to stay with us to send off their last child on a mission. And of course, I didn't take any pictures. What is wrong with me?! Although my mother in law took a bunch so I'll have to take some from her. It was so much fun having so much family here!
Now it's back to just the 3 of us. Here are a few pics I took of Grace today...and I'll work on getting more pictures up soon.

Grace Got Tagged

So my Grace girl got tagged! I will be writing for her, but she will be telling me what to say =)

1). What is your favorite food? I like chicken, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, and brownies! Yes, brownies. I have 12 teeth so I can pretty much eat anything now.

2). What are some of your favorite things to do? I LOVE to dance. My mommy and daddy dance with me everyday. I especially like shaking my bum to the Hairspray soundtrack. I also love to go to the park and swing, and go down the slides, I wish I was a little bit bigger so I could do everything by myself! I also love going to seven peaks! I go with my friends, Trey and Jenner and we all splash and have so much fun in the water. I love to watch Baby Einsteins, blow bubbles and I love to stick my tongue out. I learned that from my mommy, she always does it too!

3). What is one of your pet peeves? I hate when I want to be held and my mommy won't pick me up! I just stand there and tug on her legs and cry until she reaches down to get me. I know if I do that long enough that she will eventually give in. =)

4). What is your favorite book? I love my pop up books that show me where all of my body parts are. I now know where my eyes, ears, nose, tongue, feet, and hair are! I also love reading my animals books too. I can make a sound like a lion, tiger, doggie, and monkey. It always makes me laugh when I do a monkey sound. Ooohh Ooohh Ahhh Ahhh!

5). What do you want to be when you are older? I think I would either like to be a singer or a dancer. I just love music so much, I never would have thought one of my favorite songs would be Cliffs Of Dover.

6). What nice things do you do for your mommy and daddy? I like to give them kisses with my mouth wide open. I also like to blow kisses If I'm far away. I like to watch my daddy leave for work from the window and wave bye bye. I like to clap when I'm having fun too!

7). What naughty things do you do around your house? Well, I really like the toilet and the toilet paper right now. I think it's so fun to splash in the toilet water and make a mess. And I love to pull the toilet paper all over the house. My mommy tells me no, but I can't help doing it! I love to get into my mommy's make-up and try to put her lip gloss on. I always watch her get ready and I want to be just like her when I grow up (Ha! I threw that in myself).

8). What words do you like saying? Well, I can't say too many words right now, I can say... Momma, Dadda, bubble, cheese, hi, wow, cracker, and I can kinda say, "I got it". I'm always babbling all day long though. I can't wait until I can start talking more, I think I'm going to just talk my momma's and dadda's ears right off.

9). What do you and your Daddy do together? Well, we like to go outside and kick the ball around. I love when he throws me in the air too. But best of all I love when he says, "I'm gonna get you" and then he chases me all around until he finally gets me and then he picks me up and tickles me! My daddy is so funny!

10.) What do you and your mommy do together? Well, we are with each other all day so we pretty much do everything together. But I really like playing peek a boo with her. I go hide behind the wall, or blanket or anything I can find, and then she says, "Where's Grace" and I pop my head out and we both laugh! I also like to sing, itsy bitsy spider, patty cake and the wheels on the bus. I even know how to do all the actions that go with the songs too!

I have such a good life! I love my mommy and daddy so much!!

I now tag.... Jenner, Trey, and Opal!

Pig Tails

Grace's hair is finally long enough for pig tails! Grace could really care less that I did her hair all cute, it was ME that was all excited. I've been waiting for the day when I would be able to do my daughters hair, and now it's here, crazy! I keep cutting the back of her hair and waiting for her sides to grow longer so I could do a little bob on her. I think bobs on little girls are the cutest thing. Grace was just walking around the house getting into everything and I just followed her around taking pictures!

3 Years

Today marks our 3 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast time flies by. It feels like just yesterday that we got married. I truly married my best friend. I fall more in love with him everyday. I'm so happy that we were able to be sealed together forever. There isn't anyone I would rather spend eternity with. I love you Mark!
P.S. Doesn't Mark look so different with hair???

Our New Kitchen

This is our kitchen before... Mark has worked so hard to finish this. The poor guy would come home from work at 6, I would feed him dinner and then he would be off working until midnight. He did it all by himself too. Isn't he amazing??? I think so. I tried to help him one time wth painting the cabinets and all the ones I did turned out splotchy. So we decided I worked better as a cleaner upper and food and drink getter.

And this is the kitchen after....Now we just need to save more money to decorate it!

Trip To San Ramon

We had so much fun visiting my family in San Ramon! We did tons of stuff. We gave Grace an early birthday party, we celebrated my birthday, my Grandma's birthday, and Fathers Day. Tons of Parties! We also went to the San Francisco Zoo, which was kinda blah, until we saw a Lion ripping a little bunny to shreds. My poor little niece, Gia is till scarred from seeing that. We went swimming, did a little slip n' slide, watched tons of movies, and I gave a million haircuts. As a Fathers Day present for all the boys, they went down to Pismo Beach and rode A-TVs for a couple hours, they all came back sunburned and sore, but they loved it! We had so much, if only we lived closer.
