My Friend

Hello everyone! The theme this fortnight at Try It On Tuesday is 'My Friend', it could be human, animal or imaginary. Be sure to visit the challenge blog and you'll be inspired by what the design team has created for you.

 This time I created a circle card using Sizzix circle dies. To made the background, I used acrylic paints,  crackle paste, TCW circles stencil and Distress Glitter. Then came the fun part, I added this lovely Creative Scraps Vintage cuts. To finish, I just inked the edges with -walnut stain- Distress ink.

¡Hola a todos! El tema de esta quincena en Try It On Tuesday es "Mi amigo/a", puede ser humano, animal o imaginario. Si os pasáis por TIOT estoy segura de que encontraréis mucha inspiración en las creaciones del equipo de diseño.

Esta vez he creado una tarjeta con un diseño circular usando un troquel de Sizzix. Para crear el fondo he usado pinturas acrílicas, craquelador, plantilla de círculos TCW  y Distress Glitter. Después vino la parte más divertida, añadir estos bonitos Creative Scraps Vintage cuts. Para terminar, entinte todos los bordes con -walnut stain- Distress ink.

Hearts and Flowers

The theme this fortnight at Try It On Tuesday is "Hearts and Flowers".
 I hope you enjoy all the design team creations, they have created fabulous projects to inspire you.
For this fortnight challenge, I decorated my TH postage frame with a floral heart and some floral wood embellishments. For the background, I created some texture using a floral stencil,  molding paste and Distress paints.

El tema de esta quincena en Try It On Tuesday es "Corazones y Flores".
Espero que encontréis inspiración en las fantásticas creaciones del equipo de diseño.
Para el reto de esta quincena, he decorado mi 'TH postage frame' con un corazón con relieve floral y varios adornos florales de madera. Las texturas del fondo las he hecho con una plantilla de florecitas, pasta de modelar y Distress paints.

  This fortnight at Try it on Tuesday our challenge is "Anything but Square". No square allowed for this theme.
 I hope you are inspired to join us for this fantastic challenge. 

For my DT project, I chose a rectangular shape. 

 I started with a textured background created with some stencils with texture paste and Distress paints.

I also added Distress crackle paint in some areas.

The frame and leaves are dies from Sizzix- Tim Holtz Alterations: Postage Stamp Frame / Garden Greens.

The word is from Tim Holtz idea-ology Big Chat. 

The bird is a stamp from Artemio set.
I also used Distress markers: Wild Honey, Festive Berries, Rusty Hinge. And
mowed lawn and peeled paint Distress inks and black Archival ink.

Esta quincena en Try it on Tuesday  el reto es "Todo menos cuadrado".

Espero que os sintáis inspirados para participar en este fantástico reto.

Para mi proyecto DT, he utilizado una forma rectangular.

Autumn / Otoño at TIOT

Hello everyone! The challenge this fortnight at Try it on Tuesday is  'Autumn' (colours, leaves...). 

Hope you enjoy all the design team creations here.

This time, for my DT project, I made an autumnal wall hanging inspired in the Autumn days, when trees are shedding their leaves. So I decided to rummage through my stamp collection (BoBunny, Inkadinkado...) and I also used a die from Tim Holtz Alterations (Tattered Leaves). I used several Distress inks and Black Archival Ink. And I added crackle paint for extra effect. The rosette and owl are from my stash.

Espero que disfrutéis de todas las creaciones del equipo de diseño aquí.

Esta vez, para mi proyecto DT, he hecho un colgante otoñal para la pared inspirado en los días de Otoño, cuando los árboles pierden sus hojas. Así que decidí rebuscar en mi colección de sellos (BoBunny, Inkadinkado...), y también use un troquel de Tim Holtz Alterations (Tattered Leaves). He utilizado varias tintas Distress Ink y Archival Ink. Y añadí craquelador para darle un poco de brillo y efecto extra. Para acabar lo adorné con una roseta y un búho.

Try Something new at TIOT

The challenge this fortnight at Try it on Tuesday is 'Try Something New' (A technique, stamp, stencil, paint etc.).  For my DT project, I painted and decorated this box. I hope you like it and also I

hope you enjoy all the design team creations, they have created some fabulous projects.

El reto esta quincena en Try it on Tueday es "Intenta alo nuevo" (Una técnica, un sello, una plantilla, quizás pinturas...). Para mi proyecto DT, he pintado y decorado esta caja. Espero que os guste y también espero que disfrutéis de todas las fabulosas creaciones que ha creado el equipo de diseño.

When I found this cardboard house, I thought it would make a charming box, so I decided to make a decorative design to store tags. Cuando encontré esta casa de cartón, en seguida pensé que podría ser una caja encantadora para guardar algunas cositas, así que me decidí a hacer este decorativo diseño para guardar etiquetas.

First, I painted the box with some coats of acrylic paints (Distress Paint and Decoart) and inks (Distress Ink), then I used various stamps (Lynne Perrella...) and stencils.  I also used texture paste, and crackle paste (Ranger) on a few details . For the decoration, I used some metal embellishments, a little wooden frame (Sra. Granger) and glass beads. Primero, cubrí la caja con varias capas de pintura (Distress Paint y Decoart) y tintas (Distress Ink) como base, y después use sellos (Lynne Perrella..) y plantillas.También he usado pasta de textura,  y craquelador (Ranger) sólo en algunos detalles. Lo he adornado con piezas metálicas, un pequeño marco de madera (Sra. Granger) y algunos abalorios.

Try it on Tuesday 'In the Frame' / Marcos...

The challenge this fortnight at Try it on Tuesday is 'In the Frame'.

El reto de esta quicena en Try it on Tuesday  trata de utilizar un "marco" en tu proyecto.
Espero que disfrutéis de todas las creaciones del equipo de diseño, ya que han creado unos proyectos fantásticos.

For this topic I made a 19,5 x 23 frame. I love frames and canvases, especially because I can hang them on the wall or sometimes give them to my friends. I also wanted summer colours and decided my colour palette would be blue, pink with a touch of red.
So for starters, I made the base with acrylic paint DecoArt, texture paste which applied through the TCW stencil, and I embossed the edges with blue embossing powders to complete the frame. For the central part I used Versamark inks and Hero Arts stencil. The heart is a die from Tim Holtz Thinlits set. The flowers are from Basicgrey and the alphabet is from my stash. I hope you like it.

Para este tema, he hecho un marco de 19,5 x 23 cm. Me encanta hacer marcos y lienzos porque los puedo colgar en la pared y así no se quedan escondidos en un cajón, o, incluso, en alguna ocasión se los regalo a alguna amiga. También quise utilizar unos colores más veraniegos, así que escogí esta paleta de color, azul y rosa con un toque de rojo.
Para empezar, hice la base con pintura acrílica DecoArt, pasta de textura que apliqué con una plantilla de TCW,  y para completar el marco resalté los bordes con polvos de relieve (embossing) de color azul. Para la parte central utilicé tintas Versamark y una plantilla de Hero Arts. El corazón es un dado del conjunto Tim Holtz - Thinlits. Las flores son de Basicgrey y el alfabeto son letras de cartón fino. Espero que os guste.

Sewing and Buttons at Try it on Tuesday

 The challenge this fortnight at Try it on Tuesday is 'Sewing and Buttons'. Hope you will join us for this creative and feminine challenge. I decided to do a vintage layout  for my DT project and enjoyed working with hues pastel and a selection of scrapbooking papers. And as you can see, I love to add lots of layers to this kind of designs.

"Costura y Botones" es el  nuevo reto de Try it on Tuesday esta quincena. Me encantaría que os unierais a nosotros en este desafío tan creativo y femenino. Disfruté mucho haciendo este diseño con tonos pastel y papeles de scrapbook, y, como podéis ver, me encanta añadir muchas capas a este tipo de proyectos.

Colours of Autumn / Colores de Otoño

Hello everyone! The new theme at  Try it on Tuesday this fortnight is 'Colours of Autumn'. The design team have created wonderful 'Autumnal' projects to inspire you. I hope you've got chance to join us for this awesome challenge. And I hope you like my DT project for this fortnight.

The leaves were made with a stamp from 'Deep Red', embossing powders, and coloured with different inks (Distress Ink and VersaMagic). The background was made with a stencil and a variety of autumnal colours inks. And I painted the bird and the letters with acrylic paints.

El nuevo tema en Try it on Tuesday  esta quincena es ''Colores de Otoño".  El equipo de diseño ha creado proyectos "otoñales" maravillosos para inspirarte. Espero que tengas la oportunidad de unirte a nosotros en este impresionante reto. Y espero que os sirva de inspiración  mi proyecto DT.

Hice las hojas con un sello de "Deep Red", polvos de gofrado (embossing), y coloreados con diferentes tintas (Distress Ink y VersaMagic). El fondo lo hice con una plantilla y una variedad de colores de tintas otoñales. Y pinté el pájaro y las letras con pinturas acrílicas.

Spooky

Hello everyone! The new theme at Try it on Tuesday this fortnight is 'SPOOKY'. I hope you've got chance to join us for this spooooooky and at the same time funny challenge. And I also hope you feel inspired by my project, this time a giant Pumpkin.

The background is stenciled with a stencil from Todo-Stencil and some inks from Ranger Archival Inks. The pumpkins stamp is from Stampendous. Happy Halloween words is part of a stamp from Deep Red. The tree is a stamp from Visibleimage. The spooky house is made with 'decoupage' technique. I also used Inks Memento, VersaCraft and Glimmer Mist .To finish I added some details and embellishments.

Hola a todos! El nuevo tema en Try it on Tuesday esta quincena es "ESPELUZNANTE". Espero que tengáis la oportunidad de uniros a nosotros en este escalofriante y a la vez divertido reto. Y también espero que os sirva de inspiración mi proyecto, esta vez una calabaza gigante.

Para hacer el fondo usé una plantilla de Todo-Stencil y algunas tintas de Ranger Archival Inks. El sello de las calabazas es de Stampendous. Las palabras del Feliz Halloween son parte de un sello de Deep Red. El árbol es un sello de Visibleimage. La casa está hecha con la técnica de "decoupage". También he usado tintas Memento, VersaCraft y Glimmer Mist. Para terminar he añadido algunos detalles y adornos.

Hello everyone! I haven't published something new for days, because I've been travelling, a friend got married in Sevilla. I stayed there more days than I expected because she asked me to do her wedding album. So, now I stay here with something new... a lot of color... new beginnings...

Hello everyone and happy week!  I made this creation -a  fashion process-  for the challenges  Soartfull, whose blog is full of beautiful inspiration. This month the theme is “Dressforms” with bright colours. Only background and orange dress are digital.

Hola a todos y espero que hayaís empezado bien la semana... Hoy traigo esta entrada para participar en Soartfull, y he querido recrear el proceso de una prenda de vestir, desde que se pone la tela en el maniquí hasta el acabado, bueno, más o menos, es que no he querido recargarlo demasiado porque en este reto participan en su mayoría con piezas digitales. En esta ocasión el tema es "Maniquíes" con colores brillantes.
