#33DC - Europe-
Today's #33DC theme is Europe. I have a friend who loves all things Parisian, so I took the opportunity to do a Paris mani. I started with a base color of NOPI Late Blu-Mer from the Modern Family holiday collection 2013. It's a medium icy blue that reminded me of the sky so I stamped clouds using Bundle Monster BM-312 in White from Milani, then the Eiffel Tower image from my Fun-2 plate (love this plate) using Milani Black Swift. While it looks quite busy, I love the idea and look of this mani. The clouds may be better suited for a gray color but the high contrast I think gives the mani an interesting look to it. I've also included a shot of the base color because it's too pretty not too!

Halloween: Sugar Skulls!
If you follow me on Tumblr or Pinterest, you have already seen this mani, but... if you haven't, take a look. I was watching Cute Polish on You Tube and she did a sugar skull mani so this was inspired by her tutorial. She is so great with a dotting tool and makes it look easy. This was a bi of a challenge. I used OPI Alpine snow as the base for the skulls and a blue Essie for the base to my stamping with the Fun2 and Cheeky CH50 for the flower images. I used black polish but also black acrylic paint and it got a bit messy at that point. Overall though, it's cute enough and unique enough to draw attention when out and about.

#33DC - Favorite Brand
Todays 33 Day Challenge was your favorite brand- I chose Hello Kitty... but only because I like the stamping image :). I started with two coats of Lincoln Park After Dark (from the holiday take ten mini set), topped it with a coat of Snowflakes in the Air (from the holiday trio pack). I then stamped using Milani's white polish. I think it'd look better with smaller glitters, these were too sparkly and great to pass up though. They are holographic and silver round glitter in a clear base. I like the mani even though it looks busy. Be sure to check out everyone else's manis below.
The OPI Take Ten set (10 mini polishes: Pirouette My Whistle, Alpine Snow, Bubble Bath, Tickle My France-y, You Don’t Know Jacques!, Cajun Shrimp, Big Apple Red, German-icure by OPI, Malaga Wine and Lincoln Park After Dark.) and the Top This! trio are all available now.
