A paper wallet

Hello again folks. I hope that the week has been kind to you so far.

We have another lovely theme for you at

where we would love to see your favourite way to decorate a gift card. I must admit that I only ever give the boys gift cards or cash (straight into their bank accounts!!) so this make was actually a bit of an excuse to make something entirely different and an unusual way to present a Birthday gift.

Once again, I took inspiration from the fabulous Sam Calcott (Mixed Up Craft) and made this wallet/purse, complete with coin pocket and slots for gift cards and even a pocket for cash.

This is the front and the little fold over bit fastens with a magnet.

Once opened it look like this...

Flip it over and the gift card and/or cash section is found by lifting another magnetic closure.

It was really easy to put together once all the components were cut to size and I also think it would make a lovely way to give show tickets or even send ATCs.

I used a 12 x 12 paper pad from The Range so everything co-ordinated and added just a smidge of plain cardstock and a flower to decorate.

If you are still here, thank you, it's been lovely to have your company!

Now I am heading over to Allsorts Challenges 13th Birthday Challenge with gift wallet in hand!!

See you soon xx

AYLI - Favourite Occasion

Hello Friends, not long until the weekend now (although mine has already started!!).

It being Thursday I am here with my DT card for

where our new challenge for you is to share a project for a favourite occasion.

Mine happens to be a cute card for a female Birthday, particularly if it's to fulfill an order as it means that  a) I can stretch my creativity and b) use up some of my ever growing stash.

I won this adorable Little Miss Muffet digi in a LMM challenge a while back and coloured her with Promarkers to match the (quite delicious 15 x 30cm) paper pad that I picked up in The Range. Her lolly was stickled for a bit of texture and a little bit of spotted ribbon to finish off.

I am entering these challenges

Allsorts #351 - Birthday Wishes
Creative Fingers #103 - Anything Goes
Graph It colour challenge #7 - Spring Greens
The Ribbon Girl - February Use any image
Little Miss Muffet #132 - Anything Goes

Thanks for your visit xx
