Close to Nature at Allsorts

We have a new challenge starting at Allsorts where Brenda has chosen the theme of

Close to Nature

My default thought for this theme would generally be animals but, still on a mission to use my least used stash, I thumbed through and found a lovely stamp from Woodware, Country Fields, that fitted the theme perfectly.

Promarkers were used to colour the lovely bold stamp and I still had a MFT pad on my desk that suited the colours I'd used perfectly. The sentiment is from a Hobby Art stamp set, Scene-it Sentiments.

There are Three prizes of A5 stamp sets from AALL and Create

I hope you are all settling in to 2025. I have found myself writing 2024 at work but it's getting less frequent as the days go by!! The weather in my part of the UK has settled and the daffodils are starting to push up, no snowdrops in sight yet though.

Have a good weekend xx

Snuggly Bears with The Cuties at Christmas

Hello friends. First I must apologise if I haven't been to visit you lately...nothing major,  just holiday cover at work and family. Still with the horrors of last week I really don't suppose my woes are very important....get things in perspective Sarah!!

Anyway, it's Christmas with the Cutie Pies time  again and we would love to see your
Cute Snuggly Bears. Here is mine with his little mate!!

I made an 8x8 card this time to accommodate the Dovecraft  papers and the larger than average stamp from Hobby Art, Winter Bears Set. I tried out my (Subscription free gift) Chameleon pens...my word,  they are different!! I haven't had the chance to practice very much yet, but I am sure when I get the hang of them they will get far more use. I do hope most of you here in the UK will get to enjoy our Spring Bank Holiday. The trouble is we won't have a clue what day it is for the rest of the week!!

Hope you will find time to join in here.

See you soon xx

P..P...Pick up a penguin

Another Christmas card from me today and I make no apology because it is such a fabulous stamp and I would like it noted that I do not endorse penguin throwing in any way, shape or form!!

The fabulous Archie was coloured to compliment the Frosty Friends papers, matted on some teal card and adorned with some ribbon and a pearl slider...simples. Ooh and the sketch was borrowed from the most generous Jules...again!!

A challenge or two

Winter Wonderland - P P Pick up a penguin
Crafty Gals #39 - Things with wings
Crafty Ribbons #128 - Christmas but no red or green
Crafting Musketeers #30 - Christmas with a ribbon

I should be in the saddle but it's a pea souper out there (thick fog for those of you not in the UK!!) so Surprise gets a reprieve this morning, which I am sure she won't mind!! I haven't shared any photographs for a while so this is what the mornings were like at the beginning of the week.

Have a lovely Sunday whatever you are doing xx
