Pretty in Pink

Hello everyone!! Do not be alarmed 'tis me with a crafty make!!

I made this little bag for a friend's daughter Katie, who loves to come and visit Surprise and has started to have riding lessons. It contained a pair of pink riding gloves and a mug with all sorts of native pony breeds on it...she loved it!!

The image and paper came from the Thelwell CD rom from Crafters Companion. I had a collection of those little paperback books when I was younger. I wonder what happened to them all?!!

Anyway while I have the chance I am off to play here

Reading Time

Hello blogging buddies. I am having a bit of a "double up" today as my little gift bag was created for

the new  Favourite Die challenge at

and to showcase another of the wonderful images at Sasayaki Glitter.

I made a little gift bag by scoring an A4 piece of backing paper. The sweet little image is
"Reading Time" and she was coloured using Promarkers.

My all time favourite dies have to be my Spellbinders Large Circles which, I have recently found, work perfectly with my NEW favourites from MFT Stiched Circle Scallop Frames. Circles appeal to my love of symmetry which is why so many of my cards feature the image in a circle.

So, go on, join in you all have a favourite die or dies, just remember to tell us why it is your favourite!!

Before I go I just want to share a photograph with you. If you are not familiar with Pamellia's blog you need not suffer me rambling on any longer!! For those of you that do, you will know that she always shares some amazing photography and ends with a token morning coffee/after dinner shot. Well here is my morning coffee shot from earlier in the week while I was waiting for a friend to arrive so we could ride together. While I took Suzy home, after she "helped" me muck out, I had enough time to make a coffee and took it back down to the stables with me.

Mo the yard squatter helping herself to a bit of a cuddle!!

The best "selfie" I could get of Surprise and I, although I have to say she is far more photogenic than me and I actually got her "good" side!! Please don't call the RSPCA she really isn't a miniature horse, nor am I a giant!!

So there you are Pamellia, not quite to your standard but a rather good shot of the coffee cup don't you think!?? And it contains some wildlife...and I don't mean me!!

Have a good day everyone xx

Paper or Not?

Hello, here we are hurtling towards another weekend and I am here to shout about the first

Our theme this time is

Paper or Non-Paper projects...simples.

I enjoy most crafts including sewing, knitting  and am actually crocheting a throw at the moment (my biggest project yet!!), however I LOVE paper and stamping most of all. There is so much scope with paper, the possibilities are almost endless.

We are sponsored by

who are offering a £10.00 spend!!

I made a gift bag using Ballerina Isla and some more papers that came free with a magazine. She was coloured with Promarkers to match. The sentiment came with her and I just added a coordinated bloom to the banner for a bit of decoration.

Another gift bag to put away for when the need arises.

I'd like to join in at these challenges
