Ribbon or Flowers at AYLI

It's time to share my As You Like It Challenge Inspiration with you. I can hardly believe it's time again. Anyway, your mission this time (should you choose to accept it!!) is

Flowers or Ribbon? and, as always, tell us why.

It's ribbon for me this time...the flowers can wait for another occasion!!

I probably have enough ribbon to circle the earth several times!! All colours, widths, patterns. You name it I probably have it!! What I love about ribbon is that it adds a little "something" to a card without the bulk so the finished article can still be easily posted.

The ribbon on this card was included in a mahoosive bundle from Crafty Ribbons that I won quite some time ago. It coordinated perfectly with the yellow daisy paper that was a scrap. The sweet bunnies were a freebie from Gerda Steiner that I coloured with Promarkers.

Looking forward to seeing what your favourite happens to be.
Thank you for visiting me xx

Is that the Easter Bunny I see.....?

So, the morning animal duties are done, the laundry folded, dishwasher emptied and it is pouring with rain so here I am with a cute Easter card featuring a really cute image from Gerda Steiner Designs.

You can tell it's raining because the photograph is so bad, it looks much brighter and prettier in real life. The paper was another find in my bits box and looked suitably spring like to go with the sweet image that was coloured with Promarkers.

I hope you are having a good day xx

Anything Goes at AYLI

Well, here we are, a new year, 362 days of promise ahead of us and whatever your hopes and dreams for 2019 I hope they are fulfilled for you and your loved ones.

Right, on to business. I am still in Christmas mode and as the first challenge of the year at

is Anything Goes it fits right in.

I used my cute Gerda Steiner reindeer again, coloured softly with my Promarkers. More papers that fell into my basket in The Range were used for the base.

That is all for today folks. I hope life is getting back to normal for you after the festivities. My home is looking mighty bare but it was nice to get tidied up again. Still, time flies and before we know it Christmas will have rolled around again!!

See you soon xx

Monochrome or Rainbow at AYLI

Hello my crafty friends. Thank you for stopping by to have a look at what I have on offer today!!

It's my DT inspiration for As You Like It Challenge and the theme this time is

Monochrome or Rainbow

No contest for me Rainbow!!I love a bit of colour I do and although it's not really a rainbow in the true sense of the word I think this paper does the job and, as usual, I have coloured the image , with Promarkers, to match!!

While I was craft shopping (as you do) I decided to step off the straight and narrow and bought some 4x6 cards for a change and this is the first attempt and I was really pleased with myself. Not such a large space to fill as a 6x6 and doesn't use so much paper...as if I need to worry about that, I will never use all mine in a thousand lifetimes!!

I haven't had time to stop and chat for a while for many reasons, one of them being my Grandma time with Mollie. Her Daddy and Mummy took her to choose a pumpkin the weekend before last...
...so we had a lovely messy time last Tuesday pulling out the flesh after which I carved the face...ooh that sounds a bit macabre!! Anyway here is the result. I did forget the nose though!!

Right, that is me for today. Hope you will join us with your monochrome or rainbow creations.

Until next time xx
