Delightful Digis

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a good weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead. I had a haircut on Friday...oh my days, it feels amazing and I will never take a good hair cut for granted ever again!!

Anyway, on to the matter in hand. I am here to shout about the latest challenge at

As always we want to see your cute images and this time a digi image.

Here is my card using an image from our sponsor.

Little Mia was coloured with Promarkers to match the Craftword Cards paper that I used. Since the mojo was lacking I paid a visit to Jules' sketch vault and chose #49 this time...she really does have some fab designs that she is happy to share.

On Saturday, armed with face coverings, we headed south to the coast. We had seen in the local paper that there were cruise ships anchored off the beach in Weymouth so went to have a look for ourselves. Never having been on a cruise, we were astonished by their size...gargantuan!!

There are actually six of them "parked up". What was most alarming was how quiet Weymouth was. We had our reservations about whether to go or not but need not have worried, it was like a ghost town. We treated ourselves to a picnic lunch from M&S where it was well organised and we safely got around the food hall following the arrows!!

And here are before and after hair cut shots. I did take the scissors to the fringe during lockdown!! I am embracing the natural highlights this time as I seem to be blessed with an even sprinkling of grey, so we'll see how that goes!!

So, that's all the news. I am thankful , as always, for your visits and words of encouragement.  It is a comfort to know that there is no social distancing here and we can come and go as we please!!

Take Care xx

White on White

Hello friends and visitors, I hope you had a good weekend. We had two lovely days so I managed to do a bit of weeding and mowed the lawn too, so we look neat and tidy again!!

It's time for me to share a little bit of Christmas today in the shape of my card for

This time it's a White on White theme and I don't mind admitting it filled me with horror until I remembered my lovely Winter Wishes die set.
I stacked up the layers with glue gel and set the scene for the sweet snowman....ta dah!!

The little snowy was coloured with Promarkers and I used Nuvo Sparkle on him and each of the white layers. Realistically, my panic was unfounded and I am really pleased with my finished card.

We would love you to join us and if you need some inspiration take a look at my team mates lovely work, on show here.

See you later in the week xx

Beary Cute indeed!!

Hello my crafty friends. I hope you had a lovely weekend, despite the ferocious weather, and are refreshed and ready to take this week in hand and make it a good one!!

I am kicking mine off with a DT piece for

where the challenge theme is BEARY CUTE so we would like you to raid your stash and share a card featuring a bear or two!!

Here is mine, using an image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments

I have made an anniversary card for a change. The pretty papers are from a Craftwork Cards pad.

I hope that you will take some inspiration from my little card and dust off your bear stamps, decoupage or, perhaps, toppers and join us!!

I have had a busy couple of weeks work wise so my crafty time has been in short supply. My accident prone Husband had another trip to A&E last week following another head injury at work. I am considering buying him one of those blow up sumo wrestler suits for added protection!!

See you later in the week xx

Anything But A card

Happy Monday again...don't the weekends go by in a flash?!!

Can you believe that in a months' time Christmas Day will have been and gone!! How on earth did that happen? I have only just put my summer clothes away!!

Anyway you can stock up  your Christmas creations by joining in at

where the theme this time is

Anything But A Card

I made a gift bag using an image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments.

The foliage was cut with a Crafters Companion die and the little fella was coloured with Promarkers. You can just about see that the aperture is covered with snowy acetate too. the bag itself was made using a printed snowy paper from The Lovely Studio.

Rightio, I have scared myself with my comment about the big day being less than a month away so fully intend to get some Christmas shopping done this week...how are you doing with yours?!

that's all for now. See you when I do xx

Bird Watching

Hello folks, hope that everyone is enjoying a good weekend. It is positively bucketing  down with rain here, long overdue actually. What a strange week its been here in the UK, freezing cold nights and hard frosts, one morning the gates were frozen and I had to boil the kettle to defrost the stable yard tap!!

Anyway my card shows anything but rain or frost, it's my inspiration piece for Sasayaki Glitter and is called Bird Watching.

I used some old MME papers and set about creating a little scene for the sweet image.
It's not actually the card that I am showcasing on the inspiration blog, I somehow deleted the photograph from my DT folder and cannot get a copy as I have already sent the card, so all in all a disaster!! Never mind, worse things happen at sea and all that, however, if you are interested you can see the other card here.

Thank you for your visit and continued support, it is much appreciated xx

White Christmas

Hello crafters. Time for challenge #2 at

We would love to see your cute Christmas cards featuring a song or carol.

I may have mentioned before that I watch White Christmas (and sing the title song!!) all the time so it was an easy choice for me. I used an image from one of the sponsors (full details here).

The pretty paper was free with a magazine and I cut a silver mat using a new die set from Swedish House Crafts.

I really hope that you will find time to add to your Christmas card stash by joining us with your cute designs.

Thank you ever so much for your kind messages about our promotion!! Mollie Rose continues to grow more beautiful every day and I have taken to being Grandma very well, although I am  not so keen on sharing the bed with a Grandad!!

Hope this week is a good one for you xx

Splish, Splash, Splosh

Hello Friends...Monday again but I really don't mind as I am on annual leave this week...Yay!! Nor do I mind if it rains as I am going to please myself come what may!!

Anyway, today is the start of our June Challenge at

The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog

and, rather appropriately looking at the forecast, the theme is Splish, Splash, Splosh...think anything water related, but don't forget it must be CUTE, here is my inspiration using Fifi Bubbles from one of the sponsors.

I decided on an easel card for this project and found this, hardly touched, paper pack from Wild Rose Studio that has different dotty papers in pink and turquoise which suited what I had in mind.
Little Fifi was coloured with Promarkers to match and the MFT Scalloped Frame just had to come out again. The sentiment was done on the computer and I used lashings of silver glitter for the bath's rolled top and clawed feet and stickles for the bubbles.

This close up shows just how cute Fifi is!!

Allsorts #367 - Fancy bows and ribbons
I Love Promarkers #310 - Inspired by a film or song
C.R.A.F.T #367 - Inspired by a film
( I love the scene in Pretty Woman where Vivienne is in a mahoosive bubbly bath singing along to "Kiss" by Prince, quite oblivious to the fact that Edward is watching her!!)

Hope you will find time to play along xx

Cute and pretty in pink

Happy Monday everyone and wherever you are in the world I hope it heralds a good week for you!!

NO work for me this week...yay...so it's going to be super good chez Wills!!

Anyway I am really here to share my DT card for the new challenge at

and in keeping with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month the theme is

PRETTY IN PINK

We were supplied with digis from one of our sponsors, Crafty Sentiments, and typically my printer just would not play nicely. Thankfully I had a rubber stamp set from the same company that I could use...phew!! I used my favourite Lawn Fawn set to create the pretty layered panel using Nitwits Country Meadow digital papers and Promarkers to colour the image.

I'd like to try my hand at these challenges

Craft Rocket #1 - Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness
Inky chicks #57 - think Pink

Hope you will join in...cute and pink...easy peasy!!

Embossing

Hello everyone. I have my DT card today for

As You Like It Challenge where the theme is

Embossing...wet or dry? (Don't forget to tell us why)

My "go to" type has to be dry, in the form of embossing folders. I still can't quite get over the transformation that happens to a plain piece of card by squishing it between a plastic folder...incredible!!

Our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments and I chose to use a rubber stamp from the Warm Summer Days set that I coloured with my Promarkers to compliment the freebie papers. Both the sentiment and the greeting embossing folders were free with magazines and the ribbon from my stash.

I glittered up the sweet little blooms with stardust stickles and used a Versamark embossing pen and heat embossed clear powder to give an enamel effect to the watering can

Hope you will come along and have a play.

Delightful doilies

Hello my crafty friends I hope you are well and raring to start another week.

I am here to share my card for the new challenge at

The Cutie Pie Challenge

new style blog badge

The theme this time is Delightful Doilies and here is my card

I used a stamp by one of our sponsors Crafty Sentiments and coloured her with Promarkers to compliment the pretty papers ( I wrestled with myself for soooo long not to get these but couldn't resist any longer!!) which I also used to stamp  the sentiment on to, the tab and also the flowers. I finished it off with a knotted length of seam binding from our other fabulous sponsor Crafty Ribbons. The doily is actually a die cut piece of cream parchment, using another of my dies that haven't seen the light of day for a very long time!!

I am entering these challenges
