Tom Ford Nail Lacquer: Viper

I saved the shade with the most dangerous sounding name until last...

Viper is one of those deep, dark aubergine (eggplant) creams that have been in favour ever since OPI really got the craze going with one of my all-time favourites, Lincoln Park After Dark.  And as the name suggests Viper is a dangerous beauty too!  As with 2 of the other 3 TF lacquers I've swatched Viper demands three coats to provide fully opaque, high lacquer coverage and shine but I really think the end result is worth it.

I think it's right up there with Bordeaux Lust as I've been loving the richness of the vampies the best.

One of my favourites: OPI Lincoln Park After Dark

Hi,

Lincoln Park After Dark is one of my favourite polish colours of all time and apparently one of OPI's top sellers thanks to Victoria Beckham modelling it on her perfectly manicured fingers in a Vogue photoshoot a few years ago.

This deep eggplant creme is my idea of a vampy 'neutral', as it suits any make-up look or outfit that I care to wear, and it always looks so damn classy.  OPI originally released this as part of the Chicago collection in Winter 2005.

Here it is on my not so perfectly polished nails.  It looks like patent leather:
