Loving Marshmallows!

Hi! What an amazingly beautiful day! I was musing yesterday that most of us can do male Birthday cards- but a card to tell a bloke you love him?
Hard.
You don't want to go too cutesy & humour is often the way to go.
I thought this card nearly gets it right..plenty of 'man colours' but with a little pop of colour. The set is this one; 'Love you S'more' from Lawn Fawn
It was only a year or two ago that we learnt what s'mores actually were- in case you're wondering..
They're a campfire staple of graham cracker (kinda a square digestive biscuit), marshmallow and some sort of chocolate. Now hopefully- the little squidgy thing with eyes on my card makes more sense!
Righto- will leave you all salivating about chocolate, biscuits & marshmallows!
See you next week !

Simply Amazing!

Hello! It's my Saturday turn again!  I hope everyone is looking forward to a good weekend!

My inspiration for this card came easily as it was my wedding anniversary yesterday and these words just seemed to work! (this isn't the card that I used - this was just me playing!)

I had a good rummage through all my MTDS goodies to see what I could use.  Here's my card for today!

I used mainly WPlus9, with some Paper Smooches thrown in too!

WPlus9 Quilt Cuts 1 Die for the hexagons
WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals stamps and dies for the flowers and leaves
WPlus9 Quite Like You for the sentiment

I hope you like my card!   Have a lovely weekend! I'm away for a weekend of being spoiled in the country!

A Little Love!

Toot toot! It's Tuesday!
As so many of us are doing unseasonal Christmas crafting at the moment- I'd thought I'd get in early with Valentines Day! (joking!)

I decided to use this lovely set- which is perfect for anyone needing a little love
It also has these matching dies
Now the set is ridiculously cheap at £9-& at £4.50 for the dies, Lou is practically giving them away. I'm not normally one for matching dies, as I love fussy cutting, but I couldn't have achieved the background cut away part behind the cupid without it. It gives depth to the design & is worth the extra few pennies.

Well, time marches on, at this rate we'll be doing Easter next.

See you next week!
