More Fresh Cut Flowers & Another One!

It's lovely Tuesday- except it's a tragic Tuesday. Tragic because this lovely set is so amazing it's flown out of the store. I tend to have a backup card to show you- but would you believe it -that set's not in either. So I'll do something different- show you this, with an alternative set & show you another card that I've just posted that most of you won't have seen using a set that IS in stock!!
Right-so onto the alternative for Fresh Cut Florals- how about this one?
This set would look lovely on anyone's card AND it has matching dies too. AND you can buy it too- although the way these WPlus9 sets are vanishing, you'll have to be super-quick!
And onto a project actually utilising in stock items?
Harnessing the power of my fave set 'Oh Baby'- I know, did you think you couldn't get any more cards out of it?!!!
If, for any reason you're fed up of the set (& I fail to believe it!)- go and buy it- there's only a few left and if they're all gone, I can't show it here on the blog. You see, you have muchos power over us Make The Day Special girls!
Oh, and if you want to see us showcase any set that you're hovering about purchasing- let us know in the comments, one of us is bound to have it, and we can see about persuading you ;-)

Well, enough from me- have the loveliest of Tuesdays and you'll see me again next week- possibly with Oh Baby (unless you've decided against it!!!)

New Home Card !

Hey! Wow. It's so hot. Not the weather to be baking really- but we all need eat cake sometime! So on the theme of baking and welcoming this little card is a new home card. Another project in my mini series of using Avery Elle's 'Oh Baby'. Aka 'thrashing the living daylights out of one solitary set of stamps'!!
I hope you've seen how versatile one baby set can be- I can't tell you how much I've used this set already - for so many different occasions and not one has been to welcome a new baby ;-)
I know you've probably seen the set already- but thought I'd post it for any new readers & just to remind you of its supreme gorgeousness! I've masked off the congratulations sentiment near the bottom so it wouldn't show through & then used the sentiment over the heart in the oven.
The bottom edge of this clean and simple offering (its so clean there's hardly anything on the card and it's so simple my 5 year old could do it) is a smidgeon of Lawn Fawn papers- these ones..
The little bow has been coloured in and then some of the colour 'pushed' away with the colourless blender pen. I love making little details on my projects using this handy little pen.

Anyhow- better dash..
see you next Tuesday.. and I promise to use another stamp set ;-)

Celebrating the Tiny Stamps!

We're mixing it up a little this week. I'm up one day early and you'll find a few of us are swapping around. Variety is the spice of life and all that! I'm following on from last week's post using Avery Elle's 'Oh Baby' set...

..except this card isn't remotely a baby one. I wanted to use a tiny stamp and do lots of repeat stamping - so, if you look carefully you can see the circles are just repeated bows. Just by adding a little colour using Copics you can create something a little different.
Enjoy your Monday- and see you next week,

Bold & Bright Baby Card

Good morning to you all this Tuesday!
Today's project was quite an organic affair. I started out with no plan and finished with this. In real life I'm a 'sketcher'- I have a big red book in which I love to sketch project designs. It often gets me plenty of stares (why is that adult drawing squiggly lines and sketching. Shouldn't she be 'writing'?!!).
Today I simply sat down with this set
It's not supposed to look quite that 'neon'. It's just a bold pink and a peach. I know they're not traditionally baby congrats colours but hopefully teamed with grey ink & washi tape, they err on the side of sophisticated. You'll be glad to know that this set IS IN STOCK- so hurry over, buy them all up just so that the owner has to reorder them (it wouldn't do to allow her to put her feet up now would it!!)
This set is definitely one of my favourites (ever!).

See you soon,
