This is my inspiration for you. I used a Visible Image stamp for the main image and the background and Viva Las VegaStamps for the sentiment.

Metallics at UYS

For our challenge #264 on our blog over at USE YOUR STUFF, Kristin wants to see glitter, sequins, metallics and such.

 Well, I'm not too much into glitter and such, but I managed to put some shimmery pearls on my card :)

Hatching, Matching and Dispatching!

Good morning folks and welcome to our new theme at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

One of the most difficult challenges ever .... at least for me.

I decided to take *Dispatching*. I had to get some explanation from my Canadian Sistahs, I didn't know what they were talking about :(

I'm not really satisfied with my card, but I had such a hard time coming up with ANYTHING at all, my thinking hat already slumped over my eyes after wearing it for so long :(

Brads or Eyelets at Use Your Stuff!

Heather from our DT at Use Your Stuff has come up with an unusual, yet fun challenge:

Create a shape, or a few, using colorful brads and eyelets. 

Well, I kind of failed since I don't use either anymore and had a hard time even finding some. I just added the brads to the panel (It's a bit of a shape, isn't it?) :)

The sentiment is a Visible Image Stamp.

Challenge #248 - Hot embossing and watercolors

I totally forgot to post my inspiration for the challenge at UYS, ashes on my hair :(

The challenge is history, but I would like to share my card with you.

After stamping and heat embossing my card panel I applied water colours in different shades. I didn't use too much water since I wanted my colours strong.

I used a Visible Image stamp for my image.

For me it's definitely this stamp ....

I was nosing around that bird for quite some time and admired all the lovely creations other artists came up with it. Now that I have it, I don't know what to do with it. 

I tried many times and it all landed in the trash. I just think it has too much white in the middle, so disturbing to my sensitive eye.

We all have them, and we all will finish them ..... one of these days :)

UFO's

This is our current challenge at our *Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers* blog for the next two weeks.

I always have cardstock in my stash with some kind of background, some in whole sheets, some already cut to card size or tags, the smaller ones into ATC's. This just had the colouring and the scratches.

I also found the wings which I must've stamped and cut a while ago, I guess at the time I didn't find any use for them.

Now I stamped the lady from Viva Las Vegastamps and the bulb from Visible Image and used bleach to take the colour away. The wings are from Rubber Dance Stamps.

To add some interest I stamped sentiments from Cherry Pie on the edges.

The sentiment on the bottom is part of a text from Dylusions.
