I created this Halloween Tag in Mixed Media style. I used Gesso and texture paste for my background, some Tim Holtz Stamps and dies from a Stamp-/die set from Sizzix.

Challenge #233 at UYS

Welcome back to our challenge at Use Your Stuff!

I decided to make a canvas with the beautiful choice of colours. They look a bit darker than IRL, but still, I like it ....

I used the Mixed Media dies from Tim Holtz, Gesso and lots of paint. The die cuts are the Tim Holtz Wildflowers.

A little something for a friend ......

I *overhauled* this canvas for my friend, it measures 7 x 10" .....
I made it some time ago and it desperately needed some changes ;)

Finally .....

.... my P(i)eace of mind is ready to hang on the wall.

Remember, some time ago I created a canvas and had a little fauxpas with my spelling. 

My friends at My Sketch World also had something to say to this pun and I decided to keep it the way it is. I printed all their comments and adhered them around my mixed media project. 

Today I painted a deep edge frame, now it's hanging in our Winter garden, looks great and it will bring a smile to my face every time I look at it :)

I was published ...

..... in the latest issue of the SCRAP ART ZINE, it is so sad the ladies gave up, I will miss them and the magazine so much, the only German magazine for scrappers around :(

This is a layout based on a sketch ....

... and finally a little lantern for a candle. 

I sent this to Andrea as a "farewell present" and also to have her take a picture of it. I failed ... :(

Day 1 at MSW

I really started this on February,1st :)

My problem with mixed media projects is that I can' let go, I need to change texture and colors all over several times. Ok, this is still not sealed but I don't think I will change it again, maybe not :)

Back to the basics ... or "Just do the happy dance!"

Use paint and recycled cardbord! This is the challenge for this week at the CCCB.

I created another canvas, used lots and lots of acrylic paint and added a small flower cut from cardboard on her hat.

Some stamping, some rub ons and I'm all set :)
