Boho Hello

Hey there! I'm back today for the final day of the January Papertrey Ink countdown. Everything you've seen peeks of will be available tomorrow!

And today I bring you one more sample of Boho Rounds, one of my new design for this month. I would have loved to have had more to share with you this release week, but life has been so crazy busy around here.
Here I've inked the half circle in gold ink and stamped it twice to make a complete round.
Check out that shine! I trimmed a small triangle corner from Luxe Gold cardstock and then finished the card off with a Smokey Shadow die cut "hello" from the Super Swoosh die collection. I stapled it all into place using a Tiny Attacher stapler.

Well, that finishes up this months release for me. Just remember... all that you've seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning January 15th.

Introducing Boho Rounds

Hi there! Welcome to day three of the January Papertrey Ink countdown.

For this months release I am adding a couple new additions to my Stamping Simply lineup.  On the 10th I shared a bit of Splits: Hello There with you here. Today I have a peek at the second one... Boho Rounds. Take a look...
This is my modern interpretation of the bohemian vibe that’s making a strong comeback in the fashion and decor world.  Included is this large half circle that can be used as is, stamped along an edge, or stamped twice to form a whole circular image. It is so easy to use and allows you to keep things super simple or get more in depth with techniques and layering!
Here I've inked the half circle in Scarlet Jewel, Raspberry Fizz, and Sweet Blush. Then I sprayed it with a bit of water, using a tiny mister, right before stamping. So much fun can be had with this image as well as the others in this stamp set, you can also color and paint these images by hand!  Make your own pattern paper or gorgeous focal point... it truly is a versatile stamp set! Be sure to visit Nichole Heady (here) and Betsy Veldman (here) for more ideas using this set.

There are also coordinating die collection (Boho Rounds Sentiments) that I know you will love and use over and over again! But take note... these dies are are a larger version of the sentiment stamps, adding greater versatility to your stamp collection. Sadly I am still awaiting the arrival of mine.

Well, there's a quick look from me at the latest from my Stamping Simply lineup. Just remember... everything showcased today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning January 15th

Introducing Splits: Hello There

Hi there! Welcome to day one of the January Papertrey Ink countdown.

For this months release I bring you a couple new additions to my Stamping Simply lineup.  Today I have a peek at one of them... Splits: Hello There. Take a look...
This is the last of the Splits collection.  Insert sad face. But I think I'm finishing of with quite a bang. The geometric look of this months set is great for both masculine and feminine projects which makes it extra versatile. There's another fun detail included in the stamp set, but I will get to that later in the release.  Hint... Or you could just head on over to Nichole Heady's blog for a look at the extras included in this stamp set.
For today's cards I used the top and bottom parts of the frame to create a simple yet colorful pattern.
With this bold card front all that was needed to finish it off was a sentiment strip. Colors used here... Scarlet Jewel, Raspberry Fizz, Limeade Ice, and Soft Stone.
Here's one for the boys.
Colors used... Tropical Teal, Hawaiian Shores, Limeade Ice, and Soft Stone.

Well, I hope you all have enjoyed the entire year of this Splits series, I feel it was a great addition to my Stamping Simply lineup. It stretched my abilities, helped me grow as a designer, and I enjoyed every moment of watching this collection come to life over the last 12 months. Bonus for me, I LOVED seeing what you all created with these tiny stamp sets!

That's it from me today! Just remember... everything showcased today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning January 15th. Also, see more of the set (plus the other set of mine that's debuting this month Boho Rounds + Boho Rounds Sentiments dies) at Nichole Heady's blog. With Love Card Duo

Hi folks! Welcome to day four of the December Papertrey Ink countdown.
Today I've got another look at Splits: With Love for ya.
I've thought a little out of the box when it came to putting these cards together.
Here's the frame stamped in a not so frame way. Does that even make sense?! Anyways, I've used only a portion of the stamp along the edge of a white cardstock panel.  For reference, you can see the frame image in its original formation on this sample here
I inked the frame stamp in sweet blush, pure poppy, and raspberry fizz. Then carefully stamped only the blooms along the edge. Stamped the sentiment near the corner and finished the card off with a few clear rhinestones.
Included in this stamp set are a few extra images.
This one-layer card was stamped using the tiny triangle trio stamp, a simple image that can be stamped repeatedly to create a very unique pattern. Such as the one here, placed around the sentiment.

That's it from me today! Just remember... the Splits: With Love stamp set and its coordinating dies will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning December 15th

Introducing Splits: With Love

Hi there! Welcome to day two of the December Papertrey Ink countdown.

For this months release I bring you a couple new additions to my Stamping Simply lineup.  Today I have a peek at second one... Splits: With Love. Take a look...
These scribbled florals can be colored in and even accented with the included leaves. Tuck the "With Love" sentiment into the frame, mix and match with other Splits sets, or use a sentiment from another set for more options.
For this one-layer wonder I inked up this sweet frame in three colors... summer sunrise, scarlet jewel, and plum pudding. The leaves were added using the color simply chartreuse. A small silky bow is the perfect touch to give this simple card a little something extra, I easily formed the bow and attached it with a touch of adhesive.

Well, there's a quick look from me at the latest from my Stamping Simply lineup. Just remember... everything showcased today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning December 15th

Introducing Swan'sational

Hi there! Welcome to day one of the December Papertrey Ink countdown.

For this months release I bring you a couple new additions to my Stamping Simply lineup.  Today I have a peek at one of them... Swan'sational. Take a look...
I am just loving how this set turned out. These swans and all the bits and pieces to go along with them are so much fun to play with.
One of those bits and pieces I spoke of is this water ripple stamp. Use it alone just under your elegant bird, or stamp a pretty pattern like the one here. I used the colors limeade ice, enchanted evening, and hawaiian shores. I also added a touch to black to the base of these dark grey swans, using the rock and roll technique with smokey shadow and true black inks.

Here's a masculine color scheme using these Copic markers... blue (B97), aqua (BG13), and light green (YG11).

Well, that finishes up this months release for me. Just remember... all that you've seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning November 15th.

Merry & Bright

Hi folks! Welcome to day four of the November Papertrey Ink countdown.
Today, I've put a holiday twist on this months Splits: Happy Birthday stamp set. I've combined it with last months Quick Notes: Holiday stamp set and die.
Both sides of the Splits frame were stamped end to end to create a single border using gold ink.  I think it's kind of neat how it turned out. What do you think?!

Just remember... the Splits: Happy Birthday stamp set and its coordinating dies will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning November 15th

All You Need I Love

Hi! Welcome to day three of the November Papertrey Ink countdown.
This simple little number features this months Splits: Happy Birthday frame, but I used only one half. Both halves of this frame are differnet designs, giving you a differnet look when using one of either sides.
I carefully inked the image with four different inks... Lavender Moon, Hibiscus Burst, Aqua Mist, and Limeade Ice. Then finished the card off with a sentiment from the Super Succulents stamp set and black rhinestones.

Well, there's another quick look at my new Stamping Simply line up for this month. Just remember... this stamp set and its coordinating die will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning November 15th

Splits: Happy Birthday Day 2

Hello and welcome to day two of the November Papertrey Ink countdown!
Today I'm please to share with you another sample using this months Splits: Happy Birthday stamp set. This time around I'm letting one of the extra images from this stamp set take center stage.
This little triangular striped stamp is so much fun to work with!  It has so much potential!  Here I've chosen to freehand a hand stamped background pattern using black ink allover and gold ink for a few accent pieces.  This pattern really shines beautifully in real life and unfortunately I can't capture all of that with a camera.

Well, there's a quick look at the Splits: Happy Birthday. I'll be back tomorrow with more! Check out yesterdays card here. Just remember... this stamp set and it's coordinating die will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning November 15th

Introducing Splits: Happy Birthday

Hi there! Welcome to day one of the November Papertrey Ink countdown.

For this months release I bring you a new addition to my Stamping Simply lineup.  Today I have a peek at the new Splits: Happy Birthday stamp set, take a look...
This months geometric frame is full of possibilities, and definitely can be applied to more than just the birthday sentiment that is included! Think of all the coloring options too!
Here I've stamped the frame three times.  First in True Black ink, then in Melon Berry (after rotating) and Aqua Mist slightly off of the first impression.

Well, there's a quick look from me at the latest from my Stamping Simply lineup. Just remember... everything showcased today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning November 15th

Wishing You A Merry Christmas

Hi folks! Welcome to day four of the September Papertrey Ink countdown.
Today I've got a combined effort and have used both Splits: Merry & Bright and Holiday Swoosh on this single card.
The background was stamped using the Splits: Merry & Bright frame in a color combo of Aqua Mist, Mint Julep and Limeade Ice.  Then in black ink I combined three sentiment phrases together from the Holiday Swoosh stamp set. Everything was mounted onto a kraft card base.

Well, there's a quick look at my new Stamping Simply line up for this month. Just remember... these stamp sets and their coordinating dies will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th

Christmas Cheer Duo

Hi! Welcome to day three of the August Papertrey Ink countdown.
Today I bring you another look at the Splits: Merry & Bright and Holiday Swoosh stamp sets
Here I've paired the Splits: Merry & Bright with a sentiment from Treetops Glisten stamp set.
I placed the sentiment on top off a heat embossed Splits: Merry & Bright snowflake frame. It looks stunning done up in gold embossing powder!
Here I've paired Holiday Swoosh with a beautiful bird from the the previously released Winter Woods stamp set.
I stamped it in Scarlet Jewel and gold ink onto a kraft card base.

Well, there's a quick look at my new Stamping Simply line up for this month. Just remember... these stamp set and its coordinating dies will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th

Introducing Splits: Merry & Bright

Hello and welcome to day two of the September Papertrey Ink countdown!
Today's focus is on the soon to be released Splits: Merry & Bright. This month's take in the Splits series features a simple snowflake border, can you just imagine how beautiful it will be heat embossed! Add the coordinating sentiment included, or play around with mixing and matching other winter/holiday sentiments with them!
Onto the white card base I stamped the snowflake Splits frame, but before stamping I inked it up in Aqua Mist first and then rolled the edges in gold ink. The shine from the edges of the snowflake coordinate beautifully with the flecks of gold in the twine.

Well, there's a quick look at the Splits: Merry & Bright. I'll be back tomorrow with more! Just remember... this stamp set and it's coordinating die will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th

Introducing Holiday Swoosh

Hi there! Welcome to day one of the September Papertrey Ink countdown.

For this months release I bring you a couple new addition to my Stamping Simply lineup.  Today I have a peek at the new Holiday Swoosh stamp set, here's a quick look...
Originally brought to you in the Swoosh stamp set, these long script sentiments are now available for the holidays! Use these as borders, or offset them on your card cover so you are just utilizing one of the "tails". There are so many options!
Here I've paired it with the previously released Treetops Glisten stamp set. Stamped a little forest, embellished the treetops with gold ornaments, and then topped it all off with the "merry & bright" swoosh.

Well, there's a quick look from me at the latest from my Stamping Simply lineup. Just remember... everything showcased today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th

Hellos and Wedding Wishes

Hey there! I'm back today for the final day of the August Papertrey Ink countdown. Everything you've seen peeks of will be available tomorrow!

And of course I bring you a couple more sample of my new designs for this month.
Here I've put to used an extra die cut Splits: Giving Thanks frame that I had laying around.
It was stamped in smokey shadow and then I used my color pencils to add a bit of color to the details of the frame. I stamped the "hello" (from the Tropics stamp set) in a contrasting color (Scarlet Jewel) and then mounted it onto the card base at an angle.
This one-layer number focuses on one of the sentiments from the Fancy Foliage stamp set.
The sentiment has built in floral embellishments already placed on either side. So this card front was stamped only once (super easy!) and then touched up with color pencils.

Well, that finishes up this months release for me. Just remember... all that you've seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning August 15th.

Shaped Sayings: Halloween

Hi folks! Welcome to day four of the August Papertrey Ink countdown.
Today's feature is Shaped Sayings: Halloween. The Shaped Saying series has always been full of style, but this particular one includes some fun accessories that bring it to a whole new level! By pairing up the sentiment with a crescent moon, stars and bats, you can do a lot of fun layering and dimension! Be sure to visit Nichole Heady's blog for a detail look at these dies.
Here's a good look at the crescent moon and bats layered around the sentiment.
The moon was die cut from luxe silver cardstock, the "Trick or Treat" was cut from Simply Chartreuse, and the bats were cut from Plum Pudding. Between the fun layers I squeezed in a few black rhinestones.  Everything was mounted onto a Smokey Shadow cardbase.
Shaped Sayings: Halloween pairs perfectly with the Spider Web Trio die set too!
Here I've die cut the spider webs from white cardstock and attached them with a glue dot placed directly in the center. I popped the "Trick or Treat" was attached with a bit of dimensional adhesive and then I finished things off with a bit more black rhinestones.

Well, there's a quick look at the Shaped Sayings: Halloween. Just remember... this die set will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning August 15th
