Frequent Magicore contributors include Tooth_Eye, Kindergarten Hazing Ritual, RedSK, SDSA, Hlo, DJ Kaos, Sakura Pups, Trans.Atlantic.Rage, and Praytor (tooth_eye's short lived analog noise project) along with many, many others! Over 70 artists and 100 songs! I've been listening to it all morning and its dope! Despite the number of artists and tracks, everything fits and flows superbly. Whoever had the pleasure of creating the track list did a great job! Ranging From aggressive harsh noise to underground hip hop, breakcore to minimal ambient this release has it all! Its also a great way to hear some new musicians you haven't heard yet! There is even a music video! DON'T MISS THIS!!!!!!!!

tooth_eye and Trans Atlantic Rage aka Jared Balogh (owner of the label Altered States Reflections) bring you a unique blend of noise experimentations to chew on, and hopefully digest without distress (too much distress that is). Each artist brings 2 original tracks and 2 remixes of the other artist. tooth_eye's material is reminiscent of his later Wave Rape offerings, glitchy, noisy, and at times melodic, re-workings of pop and j-rock as well as his fanciful interpretations of anime background audio. Trans Atlantic Rage brings very entrancing rhythmic beatnik noise voyages accompanied by a bard of the improvisational accidental guitar guild. T.A.R also has some very interesting remixes of tooth_eye's breakcore work and early Wave Rape material. Originally a 5" CD release through Trashfuck Records, now brought to you for free by the same fine label.

Trans Atlantic Rage/Zumul - Split

I got this release in cd form a few months ago and never really listened to it. A couple weeks ago i put it in the cd player to listen while i played some Mana Khemia 2 and the cd hasnt really left the player since. Whether it be the soundtrack to your solo nerd night or a pleasant evening constitutional, this album is a relaxing compliment. Soundscapes pulled from the ocean that is our Universe. The art does a really good job explaining through sight what you're ears will soon learn. Stick it in, flop on the couch, and buckle in. You might just float away.

Another great halloween compilation from this year. This album contains a wide variety of genres. Epichunt brings a pretty banging chip speedy creeper. Acid Reflux throws down with the corpse of an acid dj turned into lurching bubonic sound waves.
