Dacast - "Dédale"
Parisian mathy noisy progressive metal and core varieties via Dacast. Super technical and talented, these guys have a clip from a reported movie that accompanies the release available on Metalinjection.com right now. The movie mostly consists of sliced and diced found footage, but it expertly crafted to match the music. And the music, well, this joint is fucking incredible if you like your thinking music loud, aggressive, and chaotic while also being cohesive, intelligent, and emotive.

Errata - "Cognac Al Dente"
Considering the literal definition of this band's name, I'd say it's pretty fitting they chose it as their moniker. Same can be said of this album title, perfectly fitting. Heavy and intense, soft and subtle. Serious business that's fun stuff, fun stuff that's serious business. Perfect for weekend afternoon puff'n'chug scenarios.

Digital Gnosis - "7"
A sort of esoteric blend of forward thinking production and songwriting with more ritual-esque and world - almost tribal at times - vibes that sounds as though it was pulled equally from one of the greatest movies you've never seen and one of the most elaborate, almost lifelike, video games you've never played. At moments you feel like you've been taken to see some sort of metaphysical shaman of sound in a smoky post apocalyptic futurejazz bar and others you are walking through a dimly lit forest collecting coins and gems while slaying beasts unlike you've ever encountered in any fairy tale or science fiction book, movie, or game. Undeniably cinematic, wavering between hopeful and desperate, "7" from Digital Gnosis is truly a magnificent collection of music.

Sam Goldberg - "Supernatural/Natural Fall Mix"
Bathetic Records has slowly been making a name for itself in peripheral fields relating to folk, ambient, and experimental re-imaginings of other types of music. Coming up from a truly underground small run cassette and CDR label to releasing vinyl and getting a fair amount of love from people you might expect in such realms, their take on things is always sort of melancholic and nostalgic while always being a little below radar.
Check out this fall mix put together for the label by Sam Goldberg, who has and does a bunch of shit in similar and related realms. Truly autumnal, it is a sort of esoteric lo-fi ambient folk noise experiment that is the sonic equivalent of crisp rainy days and leaf crunching night hikes.
