BIRDY Oo - Sea Songs

BIRDY Oo is a band from Moscow. They sing in English and Korean. Fuzzed out guitar pop reminiscent of The Pillows (Japanese band that did the FLCL OST). Sing song melodies often full of melancholy. The recording quality isnt great. The singer isnt great. The feelings great through though, perhaps enhanced by its "short comings". Dramacore never ceases to amaze with the diversity of its releases. Once again helping prove that there is quality music on free net labels.

Siamese Twins - "Demo"

Here's some really great female fronted sort of shoe-gazey tinged post-punk or something or other. Catchy yet dark little ditties from the underbelly of Chicago, Illinois. A sort of stripped down and more gloomy take on punk influenced indie/garage rock, there's something really engaging and intriguing about this one from the trio calling themselves Siamese Twins. Quite a departure from what you usually find here and what I normally champion at my local online hangouts, it's definitely worth your time.
