Wisteria Lane, France . . .

This post is a "clin d'oeil" (a wink, or rather, a nod) toward the blogs of Ciel de Quimper, who does "Versailles Daily Photo" and "Here There & Everywhere Random Pictures". On the Versailles blog a few days ago she did a series on wisteria which blooms abundantly this time of year in France, so these first two photos are in response to those posts, and to thank her for the thoughtful comments she's been leaving... Thanks Ciel !

Here on Wisteria Lane, France, nobody has been run over by a car recently, there have been no mysterious neighbors with strange children locked in the cellar, no plumbers with guns in their closets, no blind people have regained their sight, and to the best of my knowledge, none of the housewives here are actually desperate. . . and I thank my lucky stars we are far from that other Wisteria Lane !

To get this last shot of flowers, on a tree which none of the people in the group I was walking with were able to identify, (so I guess you could call it a UFO : for Unidentified Flowering Object) I had to point my camera up at the sky, which was quite bright, so the exposure was difficult, and there were no signs of even a single UFO in the sky there either. . . but I will keep looking at every opportunity.
