My Time to Craft! #391 Pink and Girly

Image
Hi, guys! We have a gorgeous new Challenge at My Time to Craft - Pink and Girly! Today I have 2 CAS cards to share, both to the same design but with the papers reversed. Here is the second: Everything except the main sentiment, which is from an old Simon Says Stamp kit, came from the January 2019 kit by Love from Lizi.   I used Lizi's Silver Dollar embossing powder on the big sentiment. The bottom sentiments are both glittered stickers. I also used some silver glitter Peel-offs as a border between the two papers. Finally I added some pink Nuvo Drops. Take a look at my teamies' fab, girly creations, then get out all your pinkest craft supplies and join in!! Thanks for looking, and have a great weekend! love Mags B x

The Squirrel and the Fox #43 Mother's Day

Image
Good morning, all! I hope you're all keeping well. Here in the UK we have a Bank Holiday on Monday, so today I intend to have a massive clean-and-tidy and then on Monday hubby and I intend to have a walk around our local bird reserve. IF the sun is shining, that is! It's time for another challenge at The Squirrel and the Fox and this fortnight the theme is 'Mother's Day.' Our lovely sponsor is Pink Cat Studio and the lucky winner will be able to choose 5 free digis! The DT were offered some digis to work with, and I fell for this lovely Butterfly on a Tall Stem because it's so delicate and pretty - ideal for a Mum, I think! The background paper is from DCWV Garden Stack, which I've had for years! It's glittered and very pretty, but the pattern is quite big, and never seemed right for a card with lots of layers. However, the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches is lovely and simple, so I decided to try that one. I think it worked! I took the c...

Dream Valley Challenge 49 - Girls, Girls, Girls!

Image
Here I am at last! I'm sorry I'm late, today ran away with me! I hope you're all keeping well, my lovelies, and not suffering with snow (in the North) or excessive heat (in the South)! It's time for another Dream Valley Challenge . We had a record number of fabulous creations for the last challenge, it's inspiring to see such gorgeous work! The theme this fortnight is 'Girls, girls, girls,' so get out all your pink and pretty stash! We're sponsored by the lovely Robyn's Fetish and the lucky winner will be able to choose 5 digital stamps! The DT were generously given stamps from the store: mine is Easter Girl . Isn't she a doll? I used Promarkers to colour her and stickled her wings and the centre of the flowers.. The basket holds eggs, but I covered them with two tiny sequin flowers. The green mat was cut with a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis rectangle and the leaves used a Woodware punch. Gems are from my stash. The papers are Pink Petti...

LotV and Sketch N Stash

Evening, all! I hope you're all having a good week. Here's a card for a friend who loves cute and fairies and PINK! The image is 'Candlelight' from Lili of the Valley . Their latest challenge is 'Anything Goes' which is nice and easy! The sketch is the current Sketch and Stash challenge. I used old MME papers from stash, which came with a magazine last year - I love these papers! The ribbon is also from stash, and I used a Bow-Easy to make a double bow. The leaves are a Magnolia die and the swirl is a Marianne one. The gorgeous flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. The image is fairly new, bought a couple of months ago, and I slathered stickles in pink, magenta and gold over her wings! I'm rather pleased with the shaded effect. I gold-stickled round the papers, too. I needed to post tonight about pretty, girlie things because this week's episode of 'Primeval' (on the 'Watch' channel) had a lot of horrible insect in it. Yuck! Fortunately, in t...
