The papers are from stash and the corner stickers are from Paperchase. The 'Thanks' is cut with a very old MFT Die-namics die, from purple holographic card, and the 'teacher' label is handwritten. Our sponsor is Scrap N Dipity who are new to me - have a look! The prize is 3 digis from the shop! Have a look at my teamies' gorgeous creations to get an idea of Scrap N Dipity's quirky style! Oh rats, I tried scheduling but this ended up in draft! Sorry! Good morning! We have a new Challenge at CRAFT Challenge and it's Not a Card . Just at the right time as I received the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box a few weeks ago! So cute, just the right size to contain a few Ferrero Rocher chocolates! I used some old heavy paper that was hanging about my stash to cut it, it's quite easy to assemble. The darling image is Winter Elf by Scrapper's Delights. Our sponsors this week are: Imagine That! CRAFT Challenge #329 Add some Bling.

Image
Good morning! Our CRAFT Challenge this week is to use Bling! . Gems, pearls, gold or silver card, glitter - you name it! Our fab sponsor is Scrapper's Delights and the team were given some totally adorable images to use! There is a sale on, too! The cute image of a girl opening a present immediately made me think of a tag. I used a Sissix Tim Holtz tag die to cut two, one out of paper and one out of card to strengthen it. The papers were a RAK from my daughter. All the edges are distressed with Tea Dye distress Ink to give a shabby chic look. The strip of striped paper on the left has been edged with a Fiskar's Threading Water punch, and a length of lace added over the top. The rolled roses are made with an MFT Die-namics Mini Rolled Roses die and the centres filled with gold Glamour Dust. The Butterfly (Martha Stewart Punch All Over the Page) has more Glamour Dust edging the wings, and gems along its body. The gem swirl came from Hobbycraft. The image was ...

CRAFT Challenge DT Challenge #317 Inspired by a Book

Image
Good morning! This week we have a theme at CRAFT Challenge that is rather special to me: Inspired by a Book . Here at the Manor we have books absolutely everywhere! Our Sponsor is Scrapper's Delights and the DT were very lucky to be able to use one of their cute digis. I chose Robot Chip 2 - isn't he a friendly chap? I used some very old papers that were knocking about my desk - actually, I used them for last week's CRAFT Challenge, and hadn't put them away!!! The sentiment is from a set of sentiments that came from the late, lamented Pollycraft, many years ago. I added some little eyelets as decoration. The book that inspired me is 'I, Robot' a collection of short stories by Isaac Asimov - the film of the same name was based on a SF Detective series he wrote, beginning with The Caves of Steel . Yes, I'm a SF/Fantasy geek! Roll over to our Challenge and see what books have inspired my teamies, then pick your favourite book to inspire you! Th...

C.R.A.F.T.Challenge #294 Christmas

Image
Yes, our next C.R.A.F.T Challenge is Christmas! . Get ahead of yourself, every Christmas card made before December is a bonus lol!!! I don't think I've ever made one this early.... I used the beautiful Lady Jane by Scrapper's Delights and coloured her in Promarkers. I followed a tutorial in Donna-Marie's Colouring e-book though using different colours. I can highly recommend this book, it has taught me a lot. AND all the money goes to a homeless charity, too! The green mat is a Spellbinders Floral Oval die, and I added some red spotted paper from the snippets drawer. I used glittered poinsettia paper from a Christmas Vintage 12" x 12" pad by First Edition which came from Hobbycraft last year. The ribbon is from stash, and the Lili of the Valley sentiment was stamped in Tsukineko Delicata Gold Ink. We have one sponsor this week, Scrappers Delights I'm sure you have all begun to notice that some digistamp companies have closed or are no longer...
