CRAFT Challenge #459 Animals

Image
Hi, guys! If it's Thursday there must be a new CRAFT Challenge! Our new theme is nice and easy - Animals. Here are some frogs having fun! Aren't they cute? The image is from ScrapNDipity . I used papers from an old Bo Bunny collection called 'Ad Lib.' The sentiment is from Altenew's Label Love stamp set. I cut the centre panel too narrowly and had to add another piece, and I covered the seam with some very old paper ribbon to hide it! There's usually some way to hide a mistake, isn't there? Our sponsors this week: ScrapNDipity and DRS Designs. Do hop along to the Challenge blog and enjoy the fab inspiration my teamies have left to inspire you! Thanks for looking and have a good weekend! (Not long now!) love Mags B x

CRAFT Challenge #441 Winter

Image
Happy Thursday, all! My goodness, the nights have suddenly turned very chilly here, I have a woolly blanket wrapped around my legs to keep them warm! Winter Is Coming! And that's my cue to tell you about the new CRAFT Challenge where our theme is Winter. I have made a winter birthday card, as I always need several at this time of year. The image is Fenna Snowflake from Scrap'N'Dipity. I used papers from my scrap drawer for the background and banner. The stars are from Paperchase and the Sentiment is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set by Altenew, embossed in Simon Says Stamp's Steel Navy embossing powder which came with last month's kit. I added drops with a white pearl pen around the image to look like snow. Our sponsors this week are: Scrap'n'dipity and Lacy Sunshine My teamies have left some lovely wintry inspiration for you on the blog, do go and see! Thanks for looking! love Mags B x

CRAFT Challenge #435 Out of this world!

Image
Hi, guys! We have a cosmically good Challenge at CRAFT Challenge this week: Out of This World! Think stars, moons, planets, spaceships, aliens..... I have made a galaxy background. I stamped and gold-embossed some star constellations from Simon Says Stamp Seeing Stars stamp set then blended on colour with Distress Inks, and splattered watered-down Nuvo Mousse over it to create the stars. The gold-embossed sentiment is from a very old stamp set which has no name, so I don't know where it came from. The cute image is Magical Unicorn by Scrap'N'Dipity. I admit, this unicorn is stretching the theme a bit, but I'm reluctant to use Astrology signs, but the cosmic background is definitely 'Out of This World!' Our sponsor is Scrap'N'Dipity. Zoom over to the blog and see my teamies' gorgeous creations for more inspiration! I hope you're all keeping well! Thanks for looking Love Mags B x

At CRAFT Challenge this week we would like to see Thank you creations, with the option of making something for a teacher, since it's nearly the end of term! I made my card some time ago, and it has already been posted, so I hope I can remember the details!! The image is Just to Say Freebie from Scrappers' Delights. The papers are from stash and the corner stickers are from Paperchase. The 'Thanks' is cut with a very old MFT Die-namics die, from purple holographic card, and the 'teacher' label is handwritten. Our sponsor is Scrap N Dipity who are new to me - have a look! The prize is 3 digis from the shop! Have a look at my teamies' gorgeous creations to get an idea of Scrap N Dipity's quirky style! Thanks for looking, now I'm off to play a bit more of my new videogame: I have a Wraith to hunt so that a small ch...
