Hi, guys! I hope your week is going well! Our new Challenge at CRAFT Challenge is to make a Waterfall card. I had never made one before, so this was a definite Challenge! First, here are the images that I used. The holly die-cut is from an old Whimsy Stamps die and is covered with Spectrum Noir shimmer. The others are: Merry Christmas, Christmas Snowman, and Angel Wishes digis from QKR Stampede. I added a stamped border to the sentiment image. The completed card is like this: Next time I make one I'll use thinner card for the mechanism, as it's very stiff! Our sponsors this week: Di's Digistamps and: QKR Stampede. Good morning! Thursday means a new CRAFT Challenge and this week our theme is Recycling I have done quite a lot of recycling on my card! The fun image is Roosting Chicken by QKR Stampede. Poor love, she looks rather miserable! I admit, I tried to colour her TWICE in 'realistic' colours - browns and creams - but it didn't work. Then I suddenly realised that she was feeling 'blue' and the new colouring worked a treat! Of course this had to be a 'get well' card, and I hope it will cheer up the lady I will send it to! The abstract background is RECYCLED from the box that enclosed a very nice Rioja wine that we had for my hubby's birthday last Friday. It went very well with steak and mushrooms! The red ribbon is RECYCLED from a box of chox that we were given for Christmas, and the holographic blue hearts were die-cut from card RECYCLED from a gift bag. Good morning! We have another of our regular Christmas Challenges at C.R.A.F.T Challenge and two ace sponsors! QKR Stampede Sweet Stamps I used a fab image from QKR Stampede, Merry Christmas . I like that the sentiment is included in the image! The paper is from stash, I used the colours for my copic colouring on the snowman. I layered the image on gold and red card, rounding one corner with my corner chomper. I added a green and gold ribbon, then glued everything onto gold card and then a red A6 ready-made card. I added stickles to the snowflakes on the image. I really like the result, it's sweet 'n' simple! Go and see what my teamies have made to inspire you, they are so talented!
