Christening card

Image
Hi, guys! Just popping by while hubby is watching the footy (I gather England aren't doing very well, judging by his groans!) This is a Christening card I made for my friend's adorable little granddaughter. The image is Baby Christening by Lili of the Valley and the sentiment is also by LotV. The papers are by Prima from the Introspection 6 x 6 paper pad. The ribbon and gems are from stash. Thanks for looking! love Mags B x

Dream Valley Challenge 55 - Things With Wings

Image
Please scroll down for my post for The Squirrel and the Fox Good afternoon, my lovelies! It's Dream Valley Challenge time again! Our Challenge is 'Things With Wings' so use something like a fairy or angel, butterfly or bird, bee or dragonfly, or an aeroplane but not an airship!! I used a Martha Stewart punch and added dots of green Pearl Pen here and there. The sentiment is by LotV and I edged it with a Speccie. I decorated the inside, as well...

Groovy Sixties chick!

How do I know so much detail? Because I had that outfit when I was a teen! I wasn't as tall and slim, but how I loved those clothes!! The picture here looks a little faded, as usual (I blame the light!) but that's not a bad thing, because the orange card is very bright. The papers are from the Paisley Road stack by Prima, which was part of the blog candy I won from the lovely Joey The patterns and colours are so bright and retro - yes, children, we really did think that fuchsia, orange and lime green looked good together. The flowers are made with a retro punch, the patterned ones are from the dp, curled, and covered with transparent glitter embossing powder. The gleam doesn't show here, but it's so pretty! I'm v...
