OMG!

Hi, guys, I'm back! Did any of you watch the tv programme 'The King in the Car Park' about the discovery of Richard III's skeleton? It was fascinating - especially when a forensic reconstruction of his skull was revealed, showing what he looked like! I'm going back into the past with this card - but not as far as 1485! This is Tickled Pink Fashionette Lil Lolita 50s Lilith She has such a wonderful sulky expression! I used a Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Nine and distressed with Worn Lipstick while the card was still in the die. The skulls have been glamour-dusted, and I edged the background strips of paper with glamour dust, too, after rounding two corners with my corner punch. (On reflection, I should have made the strips longer.) Papers are a mix: Nitwits for the striped background, and the strips are from a free Hollie Hobby pack that came with a mag. The twine was also a freebie. The label is LotV, the shiny dots are Paperchase stickers, and the button...

Hi, guys! It's a glorious sunny day, and everyone seems to be smiling! Here's a card using one of the first LotV images I bought. I made it for a neighbour's son, but apparently the image shows an X Box and he has a Play Station, and never the twain shall meet! It sounds like they're rivals like Lancashire vs Yorkshire or Arsenal vs Tottenham! Who knew?! So I'll probably make him something else. I used Speccies again (finally becoming used to the colours!) I edged the Nestie shape and the sentiment with 64 in lieu of a mat (I ran out of the blue card) and glittered over the top. The racing car has also been slathered with glitter. The papers are Nitwits 'Heavenly'. I used a Martha Stewart zig zag punch. The ribbon and stickers (including the sentiment sticker) are from stash. I'm entering these challenges: Lili of the Valley who want Aqua, White and Glitter; Oldie but a Goodie whose theme is 'One for the Boys' the RUBBER stamp you use must be m...

PBSC and Oldie but a Goodie and Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Here's a birthday card for a friend of my daughter! The dancing girl is Penny Black. She's one of the first stamps I bought, must be 3 years ago now, when I was just starting. The Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week is for zig-zags. Can you see the zig-zag pattern on the girlie's top and trousers? Cute, eh? The bp, which is only just visible, is also zig-zaggy, and came from an old mag, and of course I've also used the MS zig zag punch on the blue card (from stash). I think that's enough zig-zags! I'm also entering this into the Oldie But A Goodie challenge, which wants butterflies. I love the MS butterfly punch! I've stamped them from the pink matting card, ang stickled all over, then curled up the wings for dimension. You can just see the small Retro flowers that they're sitting on. The great sketch is Sunday Sketch and Stamp which I am just in time for! The one new item I used is the nestie, isn't it pretty? I distressed the edges with Spu...
