Hi, guys! Happy Monday! Ournew challenge at Dream Valley is to use Buttons and/or a Bow. Our sponsor is Oddball Art . The DT were given some of their cute and quirky images to play with, and I have used Penelope. The background paper is glittered, it came from a very old Papermania pad called 'Hampstead.' The buttons are in fact die-cuts, made with a Love from Lizi die and cut from a snippet of blue glitter card. I added embroidery floss to tie each button to make them look more realistic! The bow is coloured with Broken China Distress Ink. The sentiment is an old Sizzix die. I also added Nuvo Drops on the image and around the scalloped mat. Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at Dream Valley and this time the theme is Sparkle and Shine . I have used one of my favourite images from our sponsor Oddball Art , this is Sid the Silly Seahorse and he's so cute! There is quite a lot of Sparkle and Shine here: the mats are made with glitter paper, the die-cut sentiment is made with satin-effect silver card, the bubbles around Sid have been stickled, and his glasses and fins have been covered with Glossy Accents! Hi, guys! As you read this I will be on the way to Dublin to visit my daughter's little family for the weekend. I'm hoping for sunny weather! I hope I have scheduled this properly! We have a colour Challenge: So please use pink, purple, aqua/greenish-blue, white and dark blue in your creations! This sweet image is Cute Seahorse from Oddball Art. The papers are from stash and I used a glitter peel-off over the join. The glasses and bubbles have added Nuvo Drops. Hi, guys! I hope you're all having a good week; and for those who aren't, I hope things improve very soon. Our new Challenge at CRAFT Challenge is to decorate a box or bag. I made a bag, using this youtube video. I used designer paper and ribbon from my stash for the bag. The fun image is Frazzled Fran needs her coffee No 154 from Oddball Art. I coloured her with copics and fussy cut the image and also one of the sentiments that come with the image, and stuck them onto the bag. I had a pack of coffee to include, but sadly my hubby has used it, so I'll have to get more!! Good morning! I hope you're all looking forward to a great weekend! It's Thursday, so it must be another CRAFT Cahllenge . With Father's Day approaching next month, our theme is Father's Day or Male , so that those of us whose fathers are no longer with us can join in with a card for a male friend or relative. Our awesome sponsor is: Digital Delights I used Steampunk Octopus Freddie from Oddball Art. Isn't he suave with his top hat and monocle and elegant moustache? I cut the silver frame with Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles and the cogs with a Sizzix Tim Holtz die. I coloured the cogs with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress paint, then added some Peeled Paint embossing powder for a verdigris look. The paper is from stash, I like the 'compass' pattern!
