 Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to add tomatoes to a fruit salad. Good morning! Yes, our new theme at  My Time to Craft!  is Fruit.   Oranges, lemons, strawberries, melons, kiwis, pineapples, pears, grapes, mangoes... So yummy! The June kit by  Love from Lizi  includes some fab melon paper and a cut-apart, so I used those for my first card. I used pale blue pearlescent card as my mats and added some blue Nuvo drops as decoration.  I think it looks very refreshing for a hot day! My second card is made with one of my favourite stamps by Simon Says Stamp , the 'One Cool Pineapple' set, which I'm very sorry to say is no longer available.  Chiz. The background paper is from stash, and the fruit bling is from the June '22 kit by Love from Lizi.  The cool shades came with the stamp set, I embossed and fussy cut them and glued them in place. Hi, guys! It's time for another Challenge at Dream Valley and our theme is Our 4-Legged Friends.   Does anybody else start singing A Four-Legged Friend sung by Roy Rogers in the film 'Son of Paleface'? The film is an old-fashioned but very funny Western, starring Bob Hope and Jane Russell - she is so good in this, she out-rides, out-shoots and out-acts everyone else! An oldie but goodie. Anyway, here is my card, using AKV Giraffe by our awsome sponsor Bugaboo Stamps. I used snippets of papers from my scrap drawers for the background papers and added Love from Lizi in Grass Green Mirror. I backed an old Lili of the Valley circle sentiment stamp with green mirror cardstock by Tonic and finished with green gems from my stash.  We have a Design Call at the moment, open to experienced or new crafters alike.  Do check it out! Good morning, all! I hope you're all keeping safe and well. To inspire your crafting we have a new challenge at My Time to Craft. Our theme is Summertime. I hope some of you, at least, are enjoying sunshine: here in S-E Hertfordshire we have grey skies and a chilly breeze. And apparently storms are on the way for the weekend. Yep, that's the traditional British Summer! However, we can always create something summery to brighten up a gloomy day! The stamp is a very, very old one by Penny Black, and I love it! The papers are from my scraps drawer, the stripy background is glossy. I added a Grass Green Sway Peel-off by Love from Lizi to cover the edges between the two papers. The sentiment is from Lizi's Summer Fruits stamp set . Finally I added some Nuvo Drops. Go and see my teamies' creations over on the blog, they are so summery and cheerful! Hello, my dearios! I hope you all had a relaxing weekend and are now rarin' to go! We have a new challenge for you at Dream Valley - Only Girls Allowed. Our lovely sponsors, Star Stampz and Cute N Crafty. Both have gorgeous girly images, do check them out! I used Spring Flower from Star Stampz. The papers are from an old pad by First Edition. I used green mirror card for the scalloped oval, and green glitter peel-offs by Love from Lizi to edge the central panel. The daisy lace and gold gems are from my stash. Morning, all! Happy weekend! Our new Challenge at My Time to Craft is to make a box or a bag with a matching tag. Quite an unusual Challenge - and it rhymes, too!! My tag was die-cut with a Simon Says Stamp Tag Die and the box was cut with the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treats Box die. I used 2 co-ordinating Bo Bunny patterned cardstocks, both now out of print. I love the teal colour! The rose die is from a Love From Lizi kit from last year. I die-cut the outline from antique gold cardstock, then inlaid green and pink. It took ages, but I love the effect! Here's a close-up of the tag: and here's the box: The sentiment is by Clearly Besotted and the ribbon is from stash. My teamies have worked wonders with the theme, as usual, do take a look! Happy St Patrick's Day! And many congratulations to the Ireland Rugby Team, who beat England at Twickenham today and attained the Grand Slam!
