Morning, all! Happy Valentine's Day! I apologise for the lateness of this post, we had a rather busy weekend and I forgot! Sorry! Our current Challenge at My Time to Craft! is Love Is All We Need. I used a digi by The Greeting Farm called 50s Sweetheart . The mat is a Spellbinders Heart Circles Die. The papers are from a very old K & Company pad which sadly is out of print. I also used little heart-shaped gems from my stash and two gorgeous glitter peel-offs which came from a kit from Love From Lizi. My teamies have made some gorgeous creations to inspire you - go and see! I hope you're all having a good week. I don't know about you guys, but I find February to be the dreariest month of the year: the weather is always grotty! However, there are yellow crocuses beginning to peep out of the ground in the garden, and soon it will be Spring, hooray! Thanks for looking! love Mags B x

Good morning! sorry about the awful pun in this post's title, I just couldn't resist! Because our new Challenge at My Time to Craft is to Get Krafty! . That is, to use kraft paper or card on your creation. I used Neenah Desert Storm cardstock for my cardbas, which is cut to the American A2 size: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. The papers are by First Edition from the New Bloom pad. I covered the join with ribbon from stash. The strip of purple card at the bottom has been punched with the E K Success Postage Edge Stamp. The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Year Round Sentiments clear stamp set, I vandyked one end and mounted it on foam pads. The three flowers are from a Citronella pack by K & Co which I have had for ages! Finally I rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper, stuck down the topper, and drew two lines in the top left corner. Evening, all! How is your weekend going? Mine has been a little odd, since my daughter moved to Dublin on Tuesday, and the place is much quieter!! I confess I did shed a tear or two when I was ironing her jeans and hoodie today!! However, it's so amazing that she is now able to get on with her life, since a year ago she started her chemo. Enough of this maudlinity (is that a word?!) I made a card today while listening to a terrific cricket match - England lost to Sri Lanka, but it was a damn' close-run thing! The darling image is by Lili of the Valley of course, and I coloured her with my Promarkers in bright, sunny colours to cheer myself up. The papers are from the 'Porcelain' collection by Basic Grey - I have finally screwed my courage to the sticking place and started using some of my older treasured papers.
