Hi, guys, I hope you're all doing well! This afternoon I was visited by my friend's daughter, she sat in her wheelchair and I did the ironing while we giggled at 'Top Gear' on the telly! Yes, I confess, I have a sneaky liking for 'Top Gear'! Yesterday I managed to find the Magnolia image that I 'lost' by sweeping it off my desk with my baggy cardigan sleeve and completed a Christmas card. I meant to post yesterday but I was out at a meeting in the evening and I got home late and knackered and went to bed instead! It was interesting to colour the same image with Spectrum Noirs ( here and this one is done in Promarkers. The Speccies I used are more vivid than the Promarkers, but I like both effects, thoug I find that Promarkers blend more easily. Experimenting is fun! The stars and crown have been glamour-dusted. I used Spellbinders' Opulent Ovals' for the mats, which are cut from Centura Pearl cardstock, they have a pretty sheen that does...

Huge apologies for being so late with my post, it's been another manic day but the sitting room is clean and almost all the presents are wrapped! I'll have to makes swome more tags, though, 27 wasn't enough because everyone else wanted to use them, too!! Here's my card, made with a Bugaboo image of the gorgeous DeDe: I'm sorry about the naff photo! I made the easel card base with a Go Kreate Frilly die, and the star die is by X-cut. The snowflakes are cut with Spellbinders Create-a -Flake 4 dies. The papers are from a freebie pack from a magazine. I Glossy Accented the baubles that DeDe is holding and stickled the red tinsel hanging round her neck. I cut her out and added her with foam pads. Afternoon, all! I hope you're all having a productive weekend! I was sorting my stamps the other week and came across this little sweetie from Penny Johnson for Stampavie which I've had for ages! What a huge bunch of flowers! He's coloured with Speccies, the roses are stickled and there's Glossy Accents on the bow. I used a very nice Sketch from Fetch A Sketch . The gorgeous bright papers are free with the current issue of 'Quick Cards Made Easy' and the colours are so pretty. The ribbon is paper raffia ribbon and I dotted it with gold Liquid Pearls - and smudged one blob! But the smear of gold shimmer on the raffia looked so good that I added more smears, and also on the bow! Serendipity is a wondrous thing! So my tip today is - smear liquid pearls on your raffia to give it some bling! (It also gives your fingers some bling!) The blue flowers and yellow pearls are from stash, and the sentiment is LotV.
