My Time to Craft #393 Mother's Day or for a Female

Image
EEK! I'm so sorry I'm late with my post, I had my Church's Baby Club this morning, then the weekly shop, then an electrician came to mend a couple of lights, and then I was packing my rucksack for the Anti-Brexit March tomorrow! (Which is going to be HUGE and I'm also meeting a cardmaking Facebook friend In Real Life for the first time, and I'm so excited!) Mothering Sunday will be here soon, and my heart goes out to all of those whose mothers are no longer with us. Seeing all the cards in shop windows can be very painful. I used a circle die to cut out the watering can image and added the flowers on top using foam pads. The mat is cut with another spellbinders die from a snippet of purple card. The papers are from the Indie Chic series by Basic Grey, this is 'Saffron' and it seems to be out of print. I have so many older paper pads! The ribbon and the crystal dragonflies are from Hobbycraft, and the gold-embossed sentiment is from a stamp set by Penny Black called Gratitu...

Soooo cute!! I coloured her in Copics and added purple stickles to the flowers in her hair and Wink of Stella Clear over her wings. The papers are First Edition's Floral Pavilion , the square piece is actually canvas and has a wonderful texture. The flourish is made with Cheery Lynn's Mini Fanciful Flourish die . The flowers are by Prima, and the heart brads are from stash. The chipboard sentiment heart was a magazine freebie a long time ago! Have a look at the inspiration my teamies have left on the Challenge blog, they are a very talented bunch! Thanks for looking! love Mags B x
