CRAFT Challenge #456 Alien/Fantasy

Image
Hi, guys! How's things? I can't believe it's Thursday already and time for another CRAFT Challenge. Our fun theme this week is Alien or Fantasy! This is Saucer Head from Doctor Digi. I love his anxious expression and the way he's clutching the steering whell, just like any other learner driver! I coloured him in Copics, adding shimmer pen to the Saucer and Glossy Accents over the lights. The papers are actually from an out of print pad by Crate Paper called 'School Spirit Collection' and not a special 'space' collection, but I like the hexagons, and the distressed circles make me think of planets! The silver embossed sentiment is from an old stamp set from a long time ago which has lost its packaging. Our fab sponsor is Dr Digi's House of Stamps. This was such a fun card to make! Zoom across to the Challenge blog and check out my teamies fab creations! Thanks for looking and have a good day! love Mags B x

CRAFT Challenge #445 Colour Combo.

Image
Hello! We have a gorgeous Colour Combo for you at CRAFT Challenge this week! Such rich colours! The DT were given some fab papers by Jo, our boss, from her site: Trimgym's Digistamps and images and if you go to the Challenge blog you can see that my teamies made excellent use of them! The fun image is Ambrose King of the Road by Doctor Digi. Fans of 'Noddy' will recognise the car! I dry embossed a strip of yellow card to act as a 'road'. I also added some doubled-up twine from stash and tied a knot. The sentiment is by Clearly Besotted from the Message Me set, and the banner is made with a Simon Says Stamp Sall Folded Banners die. Our Sponsors: Melonheadz Doodles Doctor Digi Thanks for looking! love Mags B x

CRAFT Challenge #428 Anything Goes!

Image
Hiya! We have a fab theme at CRAFT Challenge this week - Anything Goes! I have made a birthday card for a friend who supports Arsenal Football Club, whose colours are red and white. The fun image is Dunderton Academicals . I coloured him with Copics and added Glossy Accents to his glasses, and went around the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink. I added a frame made with an old MFT Die-namics die, which I distressed with Vintage Photo, then added some streaks of Delicata Gold ink to give the impression of an old picture frame with worn gilding. It shows better irl. The background paper is from an old pad by (I think) Cosmo Cricket - the label has come off! The sentiment is by Clearly Besotted. The little banner stamp is from my first kit from Love From Lizi - all my other banner stamps were too big, but this one was perfect! I had a lot of fun making this - even though my team is Arsenal's North London rival, Tottenham Hotspur - and I wonder what he'd look like d...
