My Time to Craft #375 Wedding/Engagement/Anniversary

Image
Good afternoon, all! I hope you're having a good weekend. Our daughter and the Gorgeous Grandson are here - Oscar is very fast on his feet now, and quite tall, so I've been madly moving various ornaments to much higher shelves than I thought necessary this morning! How quickly we forget what small children can get up to! And how one cheeky grin can melt a doting grandma's heart! That's why I'm a few hours late with my DT post for My Time to Craft . Our theme is Weddings, Engagements or Anniversaries nice and romantic! I made a Z-fold card. Here is the front: Because the Dotty Card by Anna Marie Designs is printed on only one side I cut a piece that's 4.25 by 5.50 inches and a second piece that's 4.75 by 5.50 inches, then scored at 4.25, folded the flap, and glued it so the patterned sides were facing each other. My Time to Craft! # 362 Something New

Image
Hi, guys! I'm very late again with my post for My Time to Craft where our theme is Something New. If this looks familiar, it's because it matches a box I posted here. The card is for a NEW baby, and I also used NEW stash from the Card Making Magic line from Craftstash. Do go and see the NEW creations that my teamies have made, and join in the Challenge! Don't forget to tell us why your entry is NEW!! Thanks for looking, and have a good weekend! love Mags B x

CRAFT Challenge #449 Box or Bag

Image
Happy New Year! Our first Challenge of 2018 at CRAFT Challenge is to make a Box or Bag. And here's a sideways view: I used the new Complete 5 x 7 card and box die set from the Christina Collection at Craftstash. I used one of her trellis dies to cut a pattern in the top side of the box, backed it with acetate, and added Pearl Pen to the intersections. The flowers and leaves are from the same die set. I used rather thick card, and cutting the trellis was quite difficult, no next time I'll be sure to used thinner card. The cute image is an old one from Bugaboo Stamps - check out their freebies if you want to 'try before you buy'! Our sponsors this week: The Cutting Cafe and Bugaboo Stamps. Thanks for looking, and have a good weekend! love Mags B x
