Morning, all! I am scheduling this post as I have hospital check-ups tomorrow and I don't know how long it will take! However, the good news is I'm still in remission from my bowel cancer. It's amazing to think that it's now 2 years since I started my treatment - and thanks to the incredible doctors and nurses of the NHS I am still here!!! So I hope this post appears at the right time. We have a topical theme at CRAFT Challenge which is Father's Day or For a Bloke. . This lovely image is Lighthouse by Sweet 'n Sassy. Icoloured it with Promarkers. The paper is from stash, I cut it so that the centre, where the lines cross, would be behind the top of the lighthouse, and added Spectrum Noir sparkle to the coloured wedges, and also to the yellow section of the lighthouse. Good morning! Well, after all the excitement of last week's Birthday Blog Hop we are back to normal with our monthly Christmas Challenge at CRAFT Challenge. This darling monkey is Cracker Chester from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. He is so cute, and he stars in other images at LMM, each one more adorable than the last! Check him out! Hi, guys! As you read this I will be on the way to Dublin to visit my daughter's little family for the weekend. I'm hoping for sunny weather! I hope I have scheduled this properly! Hello there! We have a fun new theme at CRAFT Challenge. - Add a Charm. I don't know where this last week has gone! I had this little music note charm in my stash so I went with this cute Music Conductor from Star Stampz. I coloured his little waistcoat in red - very smart! Hello, my dearios! We have a NEW Challenge at CRAFT Challenge and our theme is NEW! New baby, new home, new job.... The fun image is AKV House by Bugaboo Stamps. It cried out for primary colours! Hi, guys! If it's Thursday there must be a new CRAFT Challenge! Our new theme is nice and easy - Animals. Here are some frogs having fun! Aren't they cute? The image is from ScrapNDipity . I used papers from an old Bo Bunny collection called 'Ad Lib.' The sentiment is from Altenew's Label Love stamp set. I cut the centre panel too narrowly and had to add another piece, and I covered the seam with some very old paper ribbon to hide it! There's usually some way to hide a mistake, isn't there? Happy St David's Day! As it's Thursday, there is a new Challenge at CRAFT Challenge and it's this great sketch: You can turn it round but we have to be able to see the sketch. My card uses Magical Princess by Digital Paper Craft. I added sparkle to her dress and Glossy Accents to her crown. The paper is Petticoats and Pinstripes by Echo Park. Hi, guys! How's things? I can't believe it's Thursday already and time for another CRAFT Challenge. Our fun theme this week is Alien or Fantasy! This is Saucer Head from Doctor Digi. I love his anxious expression and the way he's clutching the steering whell, just like any other learner driver! I coloured him in Copics, adding shimmer pen to the Saucer and Glossy Accents over the lights. The papers are actually from an out of print pad by Crate Paper called 'School Spirit Collection' and not a special 'space' collection, but I like the hexagons, and the distressed circles make me think of planets! Hi, guys! We have a fun theme at CRAFT Challenge - Three of a Kind. My card made me smile even while I was making it, the smiling stars are so happy! This is 'Happy Stars' by Rick St Dennis and sadly it's no longer available. I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink around the edges and also around the sentiment. Sadly the Simon Says Stamp sentiment is also out of print. I die-cut a star as a mat - originally I used patterned paper, but it didn't show very well so I went with cardstock. The papers are from stash. I used double sided tape and glitter to make the border strips. Good morning! We have a great theme at CRAFT Challenge this week: Distress/Vintage. This fab Art Deco style image is Talk to Myself by Pickled Potpourri. I used some very old black and white paper from my stash and a gorgeous piece of lace from a Crafteezee kit from Noor! Design. I roughed up all the edges with scissors and used Pumice Stone ink to distress them. The feathers are made with an old stamp which came with a magazine, I gold-embossed and fussy-cut them, then added them with a gold dazzler from Hobbycraft.
